Photogrammetry capture of Southwark Borough Control bunker under the community plot at the corner of Vestry Road and Peckham Road, London.

These borough control centres were built during the cold war as a place to continue local government during an attack. Few survive in London today so this is a rare 3D record of one such bunker although it is in very poor condition, with flooding throughout.

3240 photos taken in May 2021 with a Sony a6000 and processed in Reality Capture.
Bunker was pitch black so 7 LED camping lights and one LED diffuse panel were used for lighting.

Its dimensions and markings are defined by Law 1 of the Laws of the Game, "The Field of Play". The pitch is typically made of natural turf or artificial turf, although amateur and recreational teams often play on dirt fields. Artificial surfaces are allowed only to be green in colour. All line markings on the pitch form part of the area which they define. For example, a ball on or above the touchline is still on the field of play, and a foul committed over the line bounding the penalty area results in a penalty. Therefore, a ball has to completely cross the touchline to be out of play, and a ball has to wholly cross the goal line (between the goal posts) in order for a goal to be scored; if any part of the ball is still on or above the line, a goal is not scored and the ball is still in play. I was going for a severely hardened, almost exhausted aesthetic. The unnaturally pale skin tone contrasts heavily with the dark, heavy fur-lined jacket and pitch-black hair, giving him a brooding, gothic undertone that fits the "Requiem" theme. I put a lot of focus into his intense, stoic expression and the subtle rendering of his facial structure to really sell that veteran survivor fatigue.
