The Gislinge boat was a 12th Century CE working boat found near the village of Gislinge, Denmark, in 1993. Dendrochronological dating puts its date of construction at around 1130 CE. It was probably used for fishing and goods transportation, and by the signs of wear and tear must have been 50 years old by the time it sank. This reconstruction is based off the Gislinge Boat Open Source Project by the Roskilde Viking Ship Museum (@vikingshipmuseum) , which can be accessed here: https://www.vikingeskibsmuseet.dk/en/professions/boatyard/building-projects/gislingeboat-2016

The project included the construction of various different experimental replicas based on the original find, and the publishing of all the plans so that other people around the world could build their own replica! It got very messy with these two high detail models which both are not from me. But I didn't want to spend more time on this, as I don't have any plans with the model. I just think the Car looks cool :]
Also I am personaly more interestet in mid poly models with a efficient use of polys.

[FPS MAP] Ghost city

Hey everyone! First post here :) I wanted to try modelling FNAF characters and these are my first attempts. If you're interested in using these models, each model include shapekeys and is rigged for animation. They might be a bit buggy at some point so feel free to point out any errors or provide feedback!

When the Nazis came to power in Germany (1933), they decided to use the Olympic Games in 1936 for propaganda purposes. With these plans in mind, Adolf Hitler ordered the construction of a great sports complex in Grunewald named the "Reichssportfeld" with a totally new Olympiastadion. 

The capacity of the Olympiastadion reached 110,000 spectators. It also possessed a special stand for Adolf Hitler and his political associates. An old Romanian diesel engine from the late 1950s. I modelled it based off of some fairly low-res plans that I found online as well as photographic references.

Not far from the Nuraghe Losa, we find one of the best-known and most fascinating monuments in Sardinia: the well temple of Santa Cristina.  This underground temple certainly represents one of the peaks of nuraghic architectural mastery. It is constructed of perfectly squared stone blocks forming an access stairway leading down into a chamber with corbelled ceiling of exceptionally good workmanship. The water still today reaches the bottom of the chamber, filtering through its walls. Near the meeting hut there are some rooms with square, rectangular and circular ground plans, only the bottom courses of which remain: almost certainly these were lodgings for the priests of the water cult and the pilgrims, but there must also have been small sales stalls for the market held on the occasion of religious celebrations. LENNOX CASTLE HOSPITAL, LENNOXTOWN UK situated at the western edge of the hospital complex, was built between 1837 and 1841 to designs by David Hamilton. In April 1925 Glasgow Parish Council resolved to build a new Mental Deficiency Institution under the provisions of the 1913 Act. In 1927 Lennox Castle and its vast estate were purchased, and plans prepared for what was to be the largest and best equipped hospital of this type in Britain. The Frank G. Schenuit Rubber Co. factory was located at 1750-60 Union Avenue in Baltimore. Built in the 1840s as a cotton mill, from 1925 to the late 60s, the building was used to manufacture tires. Sadly, it is currently being demolished with plans for a self-storage facility to be built in its place. I will miss seeing the iconic smokestack during my commute to work each day!

This model shows the innovative triple dome at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. This scale model is created from measured plans of the structure and is accurate to the foot. The dome consists of three interlinked structures:

*     **The Inner Dome** – visible from the cathedral interior and purely for show
*     **The Middle Dome** – a brick cone that is invisible from below but supports the 850 ton lantern above
*     **The Outer Dome** – a wood and lead-roofed structure visible from the cathedral exterior

The Inner and Outer Domes are decorative, while the Middle Dome is the true weight-bearing support system.

Dieses Gebäude wurde von archäologischen Erkenntnissen unterschiedlicher prähistorischer Hauspläne inspiriert. Es handelt sich um ein prähistorisches Grubenhaus mit drei Kuppelöfen zum Backen von Brot. Die Werkstätte wurde von einem eisenzeitlichen Rundhaus mit einem zentralen Pfosten überdacht.

This building was inspired by archaeological evidence from various prehistoric house plans. It is a prehistoric pit house with three domed ovens for baking bread. The workshop was covered by an Iron Age round house with a central post.

This equestrian statue was designed by famous sculptor Auguste Bartholdi to commemorate the Gaul leader’s victory over Caesar at Gergovie, in 52 BC.
The first plans for the statue were drawn up in the 1860s but it was only finished and installed in 1903 during a ceremony presided over by the President of the Council, Emile Combes.
The exceptional talent of the sculptor, who was also the creator of the Statue of Liberty in New York, can be seen in the extraordinary vitality of the horse and rider.

The Reichstag  (English: Imperial Diet), is a historic legislative government building  in Berlin. The Neo-Renaissance building was built between 1884 and 1894 to plans by the architect Paul Wallot. The 3D model shows the building how it have lock like about 1930.

Made with cinema4D, photoshop and gimp in low poly and with a single low res texture, as a stylized Land marker for Hearts of Iron IV.

Intended for use as a static game asset.

My model of an approximation of a Central Pacific combine car. The car itself is patterned directly off of a Virginia & Truckee car, as plans were available for it, and the paint scheme is a derivative of standard CP schemes cross referenced with the V&T car's preserved design.

Il s’agit d’une maquette de sous-marin de haute-mer de type Brumaire (1912-1921), nommé Faraday. La coque est en bois vernis avec deux pavillons français. Du fil de fer est utilisé pour orner le dessus et mettre en avant les infrastructures du pont supérieur.

Lancé le 27 juin 1911 puis rayé des effectifs dès 1921, le sous-marin Faraday, de type Brumaire, a été construit en 1906, à Rochefort, d'après les plans des ingénieurs Lauboeuf et Lévy. Construite pour la marine nationale française peu avant la Première Guerre mondiale, la classe Brumaire est une classe de seize sous-marins qui ont tous participé à la guerre. Trois seront coulés.

Big Ben and the Liberty Bell were cast here.

The building is situated on the corner of Whitechapel Road and Fieldgate Street, London.
