Skull Proportions

The King’s hall is the most lavish of all the rooms at Skokloster Castle. It is situated in the middle of the Wrangel apartments, between the rooms of the count and those of the countess. In the Wrangel era the room was called ”The Everyday Diningroom”. In the 18th Century, when portraits of kings and queens started filling up the walls, it became known as ”The King’s Hall”.

Skull Proportions & Key Landmarks

**Welcome to [The Hallwyl Museum](https://hallwylskamuseet.se/en/) in Stockholm, Sweden.**

Once the home of [Walther](https://goo.gl/79nUeT) and [Wilhelmina von Hallwyl](https://goo.gl/Y8iiJs).

In this room Wilhelmina received callers and attended to her correspondence, something that was an important part of a family's networking.

It was common to display family portraits in this type of room. There are portraits of the Hallwyl daughters, great grandchildren and sons-in-law. 

The Morning Room was one of the reception rooms that were used daily, along with [the Dining Room](https://skfb.ly/6uLDI) and the Smoking Room (link coming soon).

The Morning Room

**Welcome to [The Hallwyl Museum](https://goo.gl/qbZSY4) in Stockholm, Sweden.**

Once the home of [Walther](https://goo.gl/79nUeT) and [Wilhelmina von Hallwyl](https://goo.gl/Y8iiJs).

The Vestibule was the main entrance where both the Hallwyls and their guests entered the house. When you walk up the stairs you will see portraits of mainly Walther von Hallwyl´s ancestors. 

The portraits here date from the 16th to the 19th century. Walther and Wilhelmina inherited the portraits along with the family's main seat, the medieval castle [Schloss Hallwil](https://goo.gl/dsWmoe) in Switzerland. 

As they wanted to leave the castle with all its furnishings intact the ancestral portraits were copied by the artist [Julius Kronberg](https://goo.gl/PS1hEg). The originals were sent back to Switzerland when the Stockholm house was bequeathed to the Swedish state.

soundofart2017 submission - An art gallery showcasing my pencil and charcoal portraits (thank you sketchfab for giving my art a place to live!) Created in 3ds max.
I have narrated some of the creative process behind the first 4 drawings only, outlining some of the techniques I use.
 
I've tried to show that animation can be used in a more subtle way to add life to scenes, understating the movements. All my latest drawings will be added to this gallery, so this is a live view of my work :)

Here is my entry for this month's challenge #PortraitFromTheFuture
In a world where a few robots are so advanced that they are seen as gods, this model is a representation of the goddess who keeps and moves the heavens and the stars.
Modeled with 3ds max textured with Substance Painter and baked with V-ray

I was not doing any speedsculpts in a few weeks, but a group from my school offered an interesting topic so I could not resist to sculpt a portrait of myself! That was very interesting expierence.

Sculpt girl

This is a simple 3d shape wish can help you with your portraits, the rotation, the tilte and the angle of the camera for the overall shape of the cranium, simplefied as Andrew Loomis did. Called it Loomy because I got inspired by Proko :)

Marble portrait bust: Pericles wearing a helmet pushed back on his head. A Roman copy of an earlier Greek original. The name is inscribed in Greek. 2nd Century AD from Tivoli, Italy.

Height: 58.42 centimetres 

Compiled by Daniel Pett using OnePlus 3 phone camera and 210 photos. This bust is on a high pedastal and is hard to reach without steps if you plan to 3d model it.

This is my entry for the #PortraitFromTheFuture challenge and my very first time with a mecha/robot/cyber model.
Modeled with Cinema4D, baked in ZBrush and textured in Substance Painter.

Portrait From The Future

A marble portrait statue of the emperor Septimius Severus in military dress. He is shown with his characteristic forked beard and tight curled hair, and is wearing military dress. The statue is not carved fully in the round, but is flat and unfinished at the back, suggesting that it was part of an architectural design.

AD 193 - AD 200 found in Alexandria, Egypt.

Septimius Severus

Marble portrait head of Alexander the Great: the head was cut to fit into a separately made body. The surface is in good condition with only minor abrasions. The back of the head has been worked to receive the remainder of the hair, which was probably made of another material, such as stucco or plaster.
