Tilbury Fort Gunpowder Magazine

The origin of firecrackers has a history of more than 2000 years. In ancient China, when there was no gunpowder or paper, people used fire to burn bamboo to make it burst and make a sound, so as to drive out the God of pestilence. Because the burning bamboo made a "crackling" sound, it was called firecracker. This custom reflects the ancient Chinese working people's desire for peace and tranquility.

Firecracker

A tall, towering creature with unnaturally long legs and a heavy, compact upper body. Its back is dominated by a thick, turtle-like shell that appears broken and irregular, formed with bony edges and sharp protrusions. From parts of the shell grow withered wing membranes, half bat-like and half moth-like, torn, frayed, and full of holes. The head is reptilian and elongated, with a narrow skull, sharp teeth, and large, round, softly glowing eyes reminiscent of a moth, lacking visible pupils. Branching deer antlers grow from the forehead, uneven and partially broken, with small moth cocoons and threads hanging from them. The skin is a disturbing mix of scaly reptile texture and velvety moth surfaces, dusted around the neck and joints with fine moth-like powder. Long, thin arms end in clawed hands, while digitigrade legs give it a tense, stalking posture. A long armored tail trails behind, slightly clubbed at the tip.

Anthropomorphic Hacha

Small bowl with lid, stuccoed and polychromed, the interior of which contains powdered red pigment. The vessel is round and decorated with blue, white and pink stucco. In the central part of the body it has a horizontal band with relief designs of human faces in profile, abstract figures and what could be phytomorphic motifs (leaves and vegetation). The lid is round and flattened with a knob-shaped handle in the shape of a head, wearing a headband decorated with incisions, his hair tied up and back, and round earflares. This vessel may have been used by a painter or scribe.

Burned barrel (verbrande ton) K45-127

Drum washing machine originated in Europe, washing method is to imitate the principle of bar hammer hit clothes design. The drum washing machine is made of stainless steel inner barrel, mechanical program controller, shell protected by phosphating, electrophoresis and spraying, and a number of heavy cement blocks to balance the huge centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the drum to do repeated movement. In addition, the combined action of washing powder and water makes the clothes clean.
