*'A devotee might pray to Amoghasiddhi to overcome envy and greed, attempting to transform these emotions into the wisdom of accomplishment. He is one of the five cosmic Buddhas who are crowned and wear jewel ornaments. Associated with the color green and the elements of wind and air, Amoghasiddhi is believed to occupy the northern section of the five directions. His right hand is raised in the “have no fear” gesture. This sculpture is part of an elegant group of bronzes, probably from western Tibet, that displays masterful craftsmanship and stylistic links to Indian sculpture from the Pala period (700s to 1100s CE).'*

Ocean Waves - Tileable Asset

Another personal project to improve my hard surface skills and learn some new techniques. After a long-standing debate between me and a few of my friends, if the falcon can actually be called a cargo ship (when all the interior space we were shown is full of benches, chessboards and capes), I tried to build what a cargo ship in this class could actually look like. What I came up with is the YTS-27 light freighter. I imagined this ship as a Joint Venture between Latero Spaceworks and the Corellian Engineering Corporation, taking design clues from the praying Mantis from Jedi: Fallen Order and corellian vessels like the CR90 and, of course, the Millennium Falcon. This particular YTS-27 light freighter was named after its first owner, a Kowakian monkey-lizard, who was barely smart enough to "maneuver" it off the landing pad. After extensive repairs and a good cleaning of the cockpit, it now has a far more capable pilot.

By now, Albrecht Durer's hundreds of masterful portraits, pen and silver-point sketches, water colors, charcoals, woodcuts, and copper engravings hang in every great museum in the world, but the odds are great that you, like most people, are familiar with only one of Albrecht Durer's works. More than merely being familiar with it, you very well may have a reproduction hanging in your home or office.

One day, to pay homage to Albert for all that he had sacrificed, Albrecht Durer painstakingly drew his brother's abused hands with palms together and thin fingers stretched skyward. He called his powerful drawing simply "Hands," but the entire world almost immediately opened their hearts to his great masterpiece and renamed his tribute of love "The Praying Hands."

This is an imperial age marble Roman copy from an original Hellenistic statue dated II century B.C.
The statue has been located in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence since 1669.
This artwork represents the life size statue of a sleeping Hermaphroditus, son of Hermes and Aphrodite.
According to the Latin poet Publius Ovidius Naso, Hermaphroditus was a handsome guy who was transformed into an androgynous form after a supernatural union with the water nymph Salmacis. The nymph Salmacis fell in love with him but was not returned, so she prayed the gods to physically join him along with her traits inside his body.
Hermaphroditus lived the rest of his life both as a man and as a woman, feeling the two sexes at the same time.

Samarqand, is a city in southeastern Uzbekistan and among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Central Asia. There is evidence of human activity in the area of the city from the late Paleolithic Era, but the city itself was fully established by the 8 cnetury BCE. Prospering from its location on the Silk Road between China and Europe, at times Samarkand was one of the largest cities of Central Asia. The city was conquered by Alexander the Great in 329 BCE, when it was known as Markanda.

Once upon a time customer wanted a water monster- a mix of octopus, praying mantis and a woman (yeah, I know). After concept phase and first, base mesh he went radio silent and entire thing died out. Now- I have recently found an old model and decided to give it a go, using 3dCoat. It is hardly optimized so it is only fair to make it free- just please, leave a comment if you are using it, it's all I am asking for.

Dish, made of polychrome underglaze pottery. The dish has a straight sloping rim and rests on a tapering ground-down foot-ring. It is painted in cobalt blue, apple green and thick pinkish bole-red outlined in greyish black with spotted tulips and curved carnation sprays with snapped stems between prunus blossom and small cloud fragments.
