I really liked [this](https://www.artstation.com/artwork/G6J2Q) piece by Pascal Miller, so I decided to recreated it in blender. It was loads of fun, but I don'T know when I'll pull through with the texturing.

Wind Turbine

Fully textured and rigged model of Jikin goldfish.

Jikin is a specific breed of goldfish originated in Japan.  Most distinct of their feature is the X-shaped caudal (tail) fins, thus also known as peacock tail goldfish.
They also have a standard for their body color of which 50% must be white and with red lips.

I went all out with texturing for this model to give the organic and transparant look that this breed of goldfish has.
I wanted to pull off the look of transparancy around the eyeballs only to find out I can only combine SSS texture with dither or mask opacity mode.   Static picture looks okay but I apologize for the flickering around the eyes during realtime animation.

* Sculpting, modeling, rigging, animation done in Blender
* Texturing done in Substance Painter

Made with Fusion 360. A toy car with double-acting 1-cylinder compressed air engine (like the steam locomotives have). Has steering, which even works. I call it "vapemobile" because of the remote shape).

Apart from these printed parts, you'll need some extra ones to assemble it:

* 623ZZ bearing (4x10mm, 3mm hole) (may poorly work without it)
* Piece of 1.75mm filament
* Rubber band
* Thin plastic bag
* 6mm silicon pipe (can be found in any aquarium shop)
* 4mm pipe from intravenous dropper (or any that you could pull onto the syringe end)

Traditional representation of a cow, powerfully linked to Sugawara no Michizane, japanese poet and politician from the 9th century (Heian Period of Japan). If you want to learn more about this character, I found an interesting japanese blog that wrote [about him](http://kansai-odyssey.com/sugawara-no-michizane-japans-famous-scholar/) .

At the Michizane funerals, the cow pulled the coffin of Michizane. Possessed by his spirit, the cow then layed down during the procession, at the place where he wanted his soul to rest.

This ended up being a lot of trouble, spent 90% of my time pulling my hair out and 10% actually being creative, i came to the point of giving up with this project multiple times but decided to publish it anyway, If it was not for all the issues i could have put more detail into the inside of the scene and some other improvements. Also because of sketchfab's interpolation over so many frames this has a slight glitch at the very end and I was unable to get this looping seamlessly.

I did not expect to do as many as 5 entries for 3December, and really pushed myself, I learnt lots more and got much faster in blender, and since its my last entry I wish you all a very happy holidays.

#3December 2023 - Window View

This single column steam hammer was built in 1907,  for  the opening of the Clyde Port Authority (Clyde Navigation Trust) repair workshops in Renfrew.

When the works closed the hammer was transferred, with other machinery, to the Scottish Maritime Museum.

It is an example of a steam hammer made to Rigby’s patent by the leading maker of such machines, RG Ross & Sons at their Greenhead Engine Works in Glasgow. It was used to forge replacement parts for the Clyde Navigation Trusts’s fleet of dredgers and hopper barges.

Steam hammes consists of a cast iron base plate and the hammer body which carries a steam piston and hammer head.

It was operated by pulling on the long metal lever on the right hand side. This released steam into the piston making the hammer head move down with great force.
A trained operator could vary the pressure the hammer head exerted - some chose to show off their skills by borrowing a watch, placing it under the hammer and halting the hammer head a fraction above the glass face.

Another junkyard find, it may be a desireable muscle car, but most of the parts have been pulled off of this one, there's not too much left of it.

*RNLB Jane Anne* is  an important survivor from Irvine's past, and a rare example of its type in Scotland. It's a double-ended, self-righting, pulling and sailing lifeboat, which was based at  the town's  RNLI station. It was manned mainly by the locally renowned Sinclair family and participated in seven rescues, saving  12 lives.

Built in 1898 by the Thomas Ironworks Co. in Millwall, London, *Jane Anne* began operating out of Irvine shortly afterwards and remained in use there until the station closed in 1914.
The boat's design meant it was open to the elements and relied entirely on the muscle power the crew who rowed it. The special construction of the hull, using diagonal cross planking, made it very strong with the enclosed ends providing buoyancy and ensuring that the crew is safe even in bad weather.


The model was created as a part of 'Scanning The Horizon' 3D Digitisation Project.

3D model of the Marc Anton monument next to the Secession building in Vienna's 1st district. The large bronze sculpture from 1899/1900 is by Arthur Strasser, who created his work for the Paris World's Fair in 1900. It shows the Roman general and politician Marcus Antonius, comfortably reclined in a triumphal chariot. Antonius is dressed in a tunic and has a toga lying across his body. The chariot is pulled by a team of lions consisting of a male lion in the center and two lionesses. Next to the chariot is a led lioness, who nestles against the chariot with her eyes closed. During a bombing of Vienna on February 7, 1945, it was pierced by bomb fragments and restored in 1956.

Io – Volcanic Surface Study

This model depicts Io, one of Jupiter’s Galilean moons and the most volcanically active body in the solar system. Io’s surface is dominated by vast lava plains, volcanic calderas, and sulfur-rich deposits created by intense tidal heating from Jupiter’s gravitational pull.

Bright regions represent sulfur and sulfur dioxide frost, while darker and warmer tones indicate areas of active or recently solidified lava. The striking color variation is a defining feature of Io and reflects its continuously changing surface, which is reshaped by volcanic activity rather than impact cratering.
