Farmhouse. Possibly formerly a summer house for the abbots of Burton. Early C16 carcass remodelled in the mid C17 and late C19. Timber framed on stone plinth with closely-spaced uprights (parts replaced by brick) with diagonal struts to gables. Brick and lath and plaster infill panels; brick and sandstone ashlar side stacks to the east; tiled roofs. Large U-shaped plan, open to the south (the main prospect) with later additions against the western limb. Probably formerly of hall and cross wings layout, entered through a screens passage to the western side, but substantially altered to take a central porch and upper storeys.

I beleive this is a dog scull from the teeth and elongated snout, but i could be 100% be wrong.
(I technichally took this within the polycam app, however it didnt not turn out the way i liked do i put the photos in the Reality Scan software. I think it turned out great after making multiple control points!)

Not a perfect model but the best I could get considering I couldn't really get higher (not tall enough) or lower (blocked by bushes). I'll miss this ride and this land but I'm happy to have this scan. I hope to print it soon to honor the land.

A ceramic mug I used for learning photogrammetry. This time I used RealityScan for scanning, which worked pretty well. Getting the inside of the mug scanned properly as well as merging the bottom part with the rest of the model was definetely a learning experience. The process was more difficult than I initially thought, but once I got it right, it wasn't that bad in retrospect. Remeshed and textured with 3dsMax and Substance Painter.

Georeferenced Orthomosaic Map and Model. The most important prehistoric site of the East Midlands, Arbor Low is a Neolithic henge monument atmospherically set amid high moorland. Within an earthen bank and ditch, a circle of some 50 white limestone slabs, all now fallen, surrounds a central stone ‘cove’ – a feature found only in major sacred sites. Nearby is enigmatic Gib Hill, a large burial mound.

Vase with Warrior Figures

Alabaster or Marble bowl with lid. The bowl has a globular shape, while the lid  is round and flat, featuring a zoomorphic handle. The lid, with incised decoration, depicts the head of a bird holding a fish in its beak.
