Asphalt 9 - Lamborghini Terzo Millennio (v2)

The Milano was an M-class spaceship belonging to Peter Quill, which he used during his escapades as the space outlaw Star-Lord. It later became the main spacecraft used by the Guardians of the Galaxy, until it was severely damaged by a quantum asteroid field, and abandoned on Berhert unrepaired.

The wreck is unusually well preserved for a ship built with clinker technique It was found in Stockholm archepelago by Niklas Ekström. It´s app 20 m long and 7,8 m wide. It also has its cargo still in place. There are a little over 30 barrels visible, mostly containing so called osmund iron. Barrels with tar, ash and butter is also found in the hold. The date of the ship is based on dendro. It date´s the wreck to 1540´s (provenance Stockholm) and has been repaired in the 1550´s (provenance, south of Finland). All dated timbers are pine.
The wreck has three masts and all it’s the rigging seems to be intact at the site. Blocs, deadeyes and the bowsprit i visible at the wreck site. Personal belongings, copper pot in the stove and som fabrics are also visible. 
Iron exports was then, and still is, one of Sweden’s most important exports but the knowledge of historic cargo ships, the trade routes and the quality of the iron is almost unknown. This wreck will be surveyd together with Jernkontoret 2021 and forward.

Graveyard Angel Stone Sculpture Statue

"General Ship Repair maintains the rich ship building tradition so long associated with the South Baltimore neighborhoods of Federal Hill and Locust Point. Charles “Buck” Lynch founded the company in 1924, moved to this location in 1929, lost the company to bankruptcy during the Great Depression and managed to buy it back at auction. Today, the fourth generation of the Lynch family operates the company at one of the last remaining industrial sites along Key Highway.
General Ship has repaired a variety of vessels through the years, including schooners, steamships, paddle wheelers, and supertankers. Workers perform maintenance work on ships in dry docks at this site in addition to sending crews out to other facilities. As of 2020 the facility, which includes a 17,300 square foot shed and two 1000-ton floating docks, repairs mostly workboats."

General Ship Repair

Historic wooden church in Trzęsówka, Subcarpathia, Poland.

From Wikipedia:
The church was built in 1759 as a court chapel of the Kuczkowski family. It originally bore the invocation of St. John the Evangelist. In 1778 it became a branch church. From 1788 it became the parish church of the newly-established parish of Saint Anne.

In 1903 the nave was lengthened by 9 meters, the roof was covered with galvanized sheet metal, and a side chapel and a granary were added. The wooden floor was replaced with cement board flooring, and the square windows were replaced with arched ones. In 1905, the interior was plastered, polychrome was laid, the altars were restored, the organ and the fence were repaired. A new organ was purchased in 1960. The altars were renovated in 1976, and the polychrome in 1977.

The building served as a parish church until 2004, when a new temple was put into use. On April 7, 2004 it was entered in the register of monuments

Historic wooden church

This is a modern domesticated mule from the comparative osteology collection at the Idaho Musuem of Natural History. There was extensive damage to the skeleton that was repaired for an upcoming project, and costal cartilage has been added for aesthetics.

IMNH R-191 Equus asinus (Mule)

Built in 1672-87 by Sir Christopher Wren, The Church of St Stephen Walbrook is considered to be his masterpiece. Built before St Paul's Cathedral the dome of St Stephen was therefore a prototype for the one at St Paul's.

In the Second World War the church was hit by a bomb. The dome was repaired and due to damage to the centre of the floor and the small size of the old altar, the church was converted to 'in the round' and a central altar installed. The current altar stone is by Henry Moore.

2392 photos taken in July 2023 with a Sony a7R III and processed in Agisoft Metashape. Quality is a little lower than my normal models as I was visiting as tourist so shot quickly while camera in silent shutter mode.

After Venus in furs from the Velvet Underground ([listen on youtube](https://youtu.be/AwzaifhSw2c)), here is a marine wooden version of Venus de Milo, burnt, washed by the sea, then repaired by a skilled craftsman !

The modeling is done with simple boolean operation in blender, using an intermediate object sculpted by hand to carve the holes.

The materials are, as usual, a mix of various PBR textures and simple Cycles nodes setups to mix in the zones of influence of the materials.

There are way too many triangles and textures on that model in my taste... I'll probably upload a replacement with a more optimized version soon as I am quite happy with the results.

Green Tara, 14th-15th century CE, now in the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

*Green Tara is one of the most revered female bodhisattvas, a being who postpones enlightenment to assist others on earth. She is the companion of the Cosmic Buddha Amoghasiddhi and equally transmits his gifts to the worshiper. Remarkable for its size and age, this statue is made from pieces of sheet copper—some now missing—that were hammered, formed, and fastened with rivets. The deity’s right hand, opened in the gift- bestowing gesture, would have rested on her right knee. Her left hand once held the stem of a lotus, which blossomed at her shoulder.*

This model has been repaired for Sketchfab sharing - the upper legs are open in the actual sculpture, but closed and textured in this model.

Green Tara, 14th-15th century CE

My final entry for the statues texturing challenge organized by Sketchfab and SMK on the theme of gender representation in classical sculpture.

**My interpretation**

I tried to infuse this model with the theme of the sea, thinking of this statue as an old ship figurehead.

Burnt and torn apart during fierce marine battles, it was then meticulously repaired by the ship's captain, who replaced the damaged parts with inclusions of aquamarine, and finalized his craft with seals of gold. 

I love to imagine the captain as a very masculine yet paradoxical man, a bearded giant letting his deepest emotions, hidden to its pairs, appear through his delicate work.

Textured in blender by cautiously mixing PBR textures, then baked to the unmodified challenge's model. Post-processing and lighting were kept simple to emphasize the texturing work.

A captain's pride

The current church of La Barbolla (Siguenza, Spain), in baroque style, was built between 1744 and 1750, having been designed by the architect Antonio Martínez, who died in 1746, before seeing his work completed.

Previously there was another church, which due to being in poor condition had to be repaired in 1680. Possibly from this primitive church, which has completely disappeared today, comes a curious tombstone, decorated with two skulls and two tibias, which says: “Mrs. Librada Ruiz, wife of Mr. Domingo López, is buried here, died on June 23, 1591. Requiescan in pace.”

La Barbolla Church, Siguenza Spain

An updated 3D scan of Old Waverly Town Hall restoration in Baltimore, MD. It was built in 1873 to serve as a public hall for the Waverly community. The city plans on restoring the building to its original 19th-century design. There has been a lot of progress since the last time I scanned it about three months ago. Some noticeable changes include the extension of the windows to their original length, restoration of the cornices, removal of fire escapes, repaired roof, and interior construction.

Old Waverly Town Hall v2

Maddoxtown Church ruin not far from Kilkenny along the old road to Bennettsbridge. It's not exactly in a great state. It is a small single-cell church building (no differentiation between chancel and nave), which seems to have been built using earth mortar construction with a lime mortar pointing and rendering. The earth mortar is exposed at the breach in the west gable. Only one window survives in the south wall. The south wall also has a buttress at its west end, the buttress on the north wall seems to have been collapsed, judging from the heap of stones there. The church was already a ruin at the time of the Down Survey (1650s).

There is also a beautifully carved baptismal font of the Ossory type still surviving in the graveyard (repaired). Worth a visit.

Maddoxtown Church

When Meetra Surik arrived on the Ebon Hawk, the dock officer stored cargo—including programming spikes—in the hold, noting it could only be opened with explosives. He was surprised mining droids had repaired the ship despite many miners being in med-bay after droid-caused accidents. Off shift, he saw droids fixing port stabilizers, likely under orders from HK-50, posing as a protocol droid. However, the navicomputer was voice-locked, preventing takeoff.

As accidents increased, an emergency lockdown began. The dock officer reached the dormitories and tried using a holo-transmitter to contact administration, but the console was cut off. Unable to break the seal, he failed to override the lockdown and sent weak distress signals beyond the asteroid field, hoping for rescue. By the time Surik awoke, toxic fumes had killed everyone in the facility.

A disc-turned, grey-brown, graphite ceramic with a combed ornament.
Such small, barrel-like pots were mostly used for storage. 
This vessel has been repaired and stabilised with iron clamps, which suggests that it was an important item in its household.

The winged lance tip was made of iron, but its structure has been significantly altered by corrosion. It has been extensively repaired with plastic. The socket and wings show partial changes in shape. A preserved section, caused by corrosion loss, shows significant changes in shape.

Angiology

Yeah this is basically a reupload, but I repaired some things like the UV's so the pole doesn't look stretched, repaired pedestrian signal webbing, an arrow signa, new mast arms, and added some new signals like the ICC Signals, and added new pedestrian signals made by @abhayexe and I even rendered my own PS1 style pedestrian push button. So yeah, this is meant to resemble Midnight Club or Black Box NFS style traffic lights, low poly while being realistic. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy using this, I loved working on creating this and I can't wait to see what it gets used for, so please mention in the comments what you wanna use it for, I just want to see what this ends up as lol, anyways have a great rest of your day ppl
