In what must have seemed like a good idea at the time, the owners of the brothel promoted an interesting challenge with a very naughty prize. A mattress would be placed in the center of a large star painted on the desert floor—if one were to parachute out of an airplane (airplane provided) and land on the mattress, they would be the lucky winner of a night with the lady of his choice, on the house!

Unsurprisingly, things went horribly wrong. Long story short, scantily-clad women plus distracted, inexperienced pilot plus heavy cross winds equal the plane plummeting straight into the ground. My fifteenth model I am uploading in regards to my entry for the competition: “Explorer of new worlds” (http://forum.humster3d.com/showthread.php?tid=76) is a further developed version of the Pegasus (I know I am a serious amount behind schedule but I put too much emphasis on the models I shall upload today. And life has been far too busy to allow me enough free time).
As much as history claims that together with Chrysaor; Pegasus was born via her beading: I have had already stated that I was going for depicting "Clash of the Titans" of my childhood that of which was but loosely based on the myths of hero Perseus. Never claiming to be historically accurate.
I wasted TOO much time designing where the feathers should fit (Surprisingly time consuming). I'll go into detailing them soon after.

Sadly I am obligated to share a decimated version. The file just wouldn't upload.

This is just an experiment with exporting a particle animation to Alembic format (.abc) from Blender.  I created the effect using similar steps as those shown in this tutorial (except I used a cube as the particle so it's lower poly, and I added randomness to the velocity, which I don't like in retrospect): https://youtu.be/k5WH5WY1Osc?si=Y1sfy87AwmzhI96m only up to the point where you start adding a material and adjusting render settings, since that is not necessary for export.

Initially I just selected the emitter and particle and exported them as Alembic with default export settings, and overall it worked remarkably well.  Sketchfab had no issue importing the animation.  Unfortunately though, without any adjustments, the animation's two stages (rising up into the air, then bursting) came out overlapped.  So I went looking for a way to fix that, and found a great Blender addon for baking particle effects by searching Gumroad for scaryplasmon CakeParticles.

In future tests I will remap the texture.
