The Dalarö wreck is one of the world's best preserved 17th-century wrecks, lying at about 30 metres depth by Edesön off Dalarö. It was discovered in 2003 by the Marine Culture Society, and archaeologists from the Swedish Maritime Museum have investigated the site together with specialists from the University of Southampton and Södertörn University.
Although it is a fairly small ship, about 20 meters long, with a hold and six gun ports, its silhouette is similar to the larger warships. On and around the wreck are many objects – pottery, glass bottles, tools, handweapons, parts of the rigging, and baskets and crates. On the bottom rests the figurehead, depicting a roaring lion on its hind legs. Two masts are still standing.

In 2017, the ship was probably identified as Bodekull, a small frigate.

Löwe

This large-scale  horizontal and vertical planing machine, also known as 'wallcreeper', was used to accurately create flat surfaces on large pieces of metal. It could plane both horizontal and vertical surfaces without altering the setting of the workplace. 

Manufacturers did a roaring trade when shipbuilders and associated companies placed orders. These machines, however, were built to last. This machine for example, was used in  Renfrew maintenance works of the Clyde Navigation Trust from 1906 until 1984, which shows how reliable such tools were. 

Scottish manufacturers such as Thomas Shanks & Co. produced machine tools for companies worldwide. The scale of Scottish production was huge, and the development of machine tools made the large-scale manufacture of iron and steel ships possible.

Preface: As a newcomer standing at the threshold of 3D printing, I haven't yet mastered those flashy, breathtaking techniques. Instead, I choose the most unpretentious way to test the unspoken harmony between machine and filament. Without the effortless grace of a veteran, I have only the cautious adjustment of parameters. I want to see if these seemingly ordinary plastic strands can, in my hands, bloom into a dust-free flower and nurture a bottle of quiet time.  While the world loves the bustle of spring, I prefer its "negative space."  Summer flowers are like bold ink-wash paintings, intense enough to dazzle the eyes; autumn fruits are heavy oil paintings, so plump they nearly spill from the frame. Only spring is like an unfinished ink sketch—the brushstrokes are light, the ink is pale, blurring a faint, ethereal vitality onto the rice paper. Look at the green on the branches; it doesn't seize your vision with grand gestures. Instead, like a shy child, it tentatively whispers a "hello" to the world. Listen to the breeze; it isn't a roaring proclamation, but a soft murmur, quietly awakening the slumbering soil.  This kind of beauty is unassuming. It needs no swarms of bees or butterflies to prove its existence, nor a spotlight of sunshine to highlight its worth. It simply exists there, budding and blooming at its own pace, completing a grand rehearsal of life in a corner known to none.  It doesn't require an overnight sensation; it only needs every tiny progression to be steady. The matte finish strips away the cheap glare of plastic, softening every layer of texture—just as spring hides its sharp edges and tucks its tenderness into the grains of life.  I’ve come to realize that a true bloom is never meant to please the audience, but to stay true to one’s own rhythm. Don’t be anxious about the flourishing gardens of others, and don’t panic over your own slow steps.
