This colossal statue of the Nile was found in 1513 in Campo Marzio where it was probably part of the decoration of the Iseo Campense, dedicated to the Egyptian deities Isis and Serapis. The river is shown as a venerable old man stretched out on his side with a cornucopia of fruit in his left arm and ears of wheat in his right hand. Egypt is represented by the presence of a sphinx. The scene is enlivened by sixteen children who allude to the sixteen cubits of water by which the Nile rises for its annual flood.

Porsche 911 GT3

This is a 3D model  of a racer snake (Dolichophis jugularis) scanned using the Beastcam MACRO on a live snake in Cyprus. The mass of the snake is 479 grams. CG artist Jer Bot retopologized and reconstructed the snake in the open source 3D animation software Blender (blender.org). He did this through images captured using an array of six Canon G16 cameras and other reference photos. The construction of this model is part of the post-doc research of Dr. Savvas Zotos (POST-DOC/0916/0034) (https://retrack.terracypria.org) and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Cyprus through the Research and Innovation Foundation. This 3D model will be used as a means for both studying and presenting the species movement and behavioural patterns.

Model 60A - Cyprus Racer Snake

The BMW E30 is the second generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21 3 Series. The model range included 2-door coupe and convertible body styles, as well as being the first 3 Series to be produced in 4-door sedan and wagon/estate body styles. It was powered by four-cylinder petrol, six-cylinder petrol and six-cylinder diesel engines, the latter a first for the 3 Series. The E30 325iX model was the first BMW to have all-wheel drive.

The first BMW M3 model was built on the E30 platform and was powered by the high-revving BMW S14 four-cylinder petrol engine, which produced 175 kW (235 bhp) in its final iteration. The BMW Z1 roadster was also based on the E30 platform. Following the launch of the E36 3 Series in 1990, the E30 began to be phased out.

* In 2000, BMW redefined its super sports coupe, the M3 by placing a 3.2-liter DOHC inline-6 under its hood. Based on the E46 3 Series that underwent a full model change in 1998, the new M3 pumped out a fierce 338 HP at 7900 rpm and a hearty 269.0 lb-ft of torque at 4900. This meant that this amazing machine achieved more than 99 HP per liter when the six cylinder spun to its 7900-rpm redline. What really brought the motor to life was the M3's new gearbox. Initially, it came equipped with a Getrag 6-speed manual, but later BMW added the SMG II, the company's prize two-pedal (twin clutch) semi automatic transmission.

2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring (992)

The Koenigsegg One:1 was presented at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show held in March. Koenigsegg built six cars apart from the car presented at the Geneva Motor Show. All of which were already sold. Koenigsegg took two cars to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where they were displayed alongside other sports cars such as the McLaren P1, the Ferrari LaFerrari, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the Pagani Huayra.

The name One:1 comes from the power-to-weight ratio (1,360 PS to 1360 kg) giving the car 1 PS per 1 kg mass. The 1,360 PS power output is the equivalent of one megawatt, which Koenigsegg claims makes the One:1 the 'world's first megacar'. The car is track focused as opposed to the previous cars made by Koenigsegg. Koenigsegg had to sacrifice a few things to be able to achieve their goal with the car. There is an airscoop on the removable roof and an extra set of radiators in the front compartment, due to this reason it is not possible to store the roof in the boot like previous models.

**Description**
Devil's Slide was the location of a military triangulation station and observation site used during World War II as part of the harbor defense of San Francisco. Prior to the advent of radar, military personnel used binoculars and compasses to search for ships at sea and relay their coordinates to a central post. By combining information from multiple observation posts, a ship's precise location could be determined by triangulation. There were six military structures at the Devil's Slide: three concrete and steel observation pill-boxes, two concrete and earth bunkers, and a reinforced steel observation tower. The most famous of the Govan stones, the sarcophagus represents a rare monument type in early medieval Scotland prior to the 12th century AD. It was rediscovered in the churchyard by a gravedigger in 1856 and was moved into the church in 1908. It is decorated with a hunting scene, different arrangements of interlaced beasts, and six panels of interlace, some of which appear to be interlaced snakes. It is not known what the lid might have looked like, but two complete drainage holes in the base of the monument (and the worn surfaces surrounding them) suggest that the sarcophagus originally acted as a coffin for the remains of a royal saint, but later functioned as a reliquary.

The Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) is a high-performance sports car that is based on the current 992 generation.012 It features a 4.2-liter Porsche flat-six engine, which is a step up in displacement from the 4.0-liter units in the previous car. The Eclipse-class dreadnought, also known as the Eclipse-class Super Star Destroyer, was a class of Imperial Super Star Destroyer manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards and mainly used around six years after the Battle of Endor. Like the Sovereign-class, they were regarded as a new generation of Super Star Destroyer.

An Eclipse-class vessel carried 600 TIE/IN interceptors and 96 TIE Bombers, divided into 58 squadrons; for ground assault, they carried 150,000 Imperial soldiers, 100 AT-ATs, and five prefabricated bases. The hangars were located at the sides of the vessel, with the fore and aft launch bays closely spaced underneath this area, towards the middle of the ship.

Each ship of the class was crewed by over 700,000 personnel, and Eclipse II also carried a complement of Shadow Droid starfighters.Troop quarters were located on the lower frontal section of the vessel, in front of the hangar areas.

At the heart of the Porsche 911 Turbo S lies a new 3,700 cc flat-six engine with variable turbine geometry (VTG) turbochargers, delivering 70 more horsepower than its predecessor. The maximum torque is 800 Nm (an increase of 50 Nm), and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds (a 0.2-second improvement) using the 8-speed PDK transmission customized for the Turbo. The top speed remains at 330 km/h.

The Dalarö wreck is one of the world's best preserved 17th-century wrecks, lying at about 30 metres depth by Edesön off Dalarö. It was discovered in 2003 by the Marine Culture Society, and archaeologists from the Swedish Maritime Museum have investigated the site together with specialists from the University of Southampton and Södertörn University.
Although it is a fairly small ship, about 20 meters long, with a hold and six gun ports, its silhouette is similar to the larger warships. On and around the wreck are many objects – pottery, glass bottles, tools, handweapons, parts of the rigging, and baskets and crates. On the bottom rests the figurehead, depicting a roaring lion on its hind legs. Two masts are still standing.

In 2017, the ship was probably identified as Bodekull, a small frigate.

It's been a while! Here is a model based off the anicent apex predator of the sea, the Pliosaur. It was inspired by the recent discovery of a six foot long pliosaur skull found in the Dorset Cliffs. 

During a documentary with David Attenborough, the Pliosaur's movement is described as being closest to that of a penguins, so I thought I would try and push that motif a bit more.
