Stránská skála (often without diacritics as Stranska skala) is a hill and refers to a Mid-Pleistocene-Cromerian interglacial most important paleontological site in Central Europe.  Its northwestern slope is composed from karstified limestone cliffs in which numerous fossiliferous fissures and caves were found. Approximately 48 meter (157 ft) of this slope are covered by complex talus fan.

Dunnottar Castle (Scottish Gaelic: Dùn Fhoithear, "fort on the shelving slope") is a ruined medieval fortress located upon a rocky headland on the north-east coast of Scotland, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) south of Stonehaven. The surviving buildings are largely of the 15th and 16th centuries, but the site is believed to have been fortified in the Early Middle Ages.  Wikipedia

Mount Carmel is a coastal mountain range in northern Israel stretching from the Mediterranean Sea towards the southeast. A number of towns are situated there, most notably the city of Haifa, Israel's third largest city, located on the northern and western slopes. The range is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. 

Due to the lush vegetation on the sloped hillside, and many caves on the steeper side, Carmel became the haunt of criminals. In ancient Canaanite culture, high places were frequently considered to be sacred, and Mount Carmel appears to have been no exception.  

In mainstream Jewish, Christian, and Islamic thought, Elijah is associated with the mountain, and he is regarded as having sometimes resided on the mountain.  The Bible's book of 1 Kings 18, records a showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. In that account, the God of Elijah sends fire from heaven to consume a sacrifice of testing, proving which diety is the true and living one.  The event takes place on this mountain.   -Nate Loper

Mount Carmel – North Israel by Mediterranean Sea

This is a shell from the chambered nautilus (*Nautilus pompilius*), known also as the pearly nautilus. The chambered nautilus can be found throughout the Pacific Ocean and inhabits shelf and slope waters near coral reefs with depths up to 750 meters. The shell of the nautilus shows countershading--where the bottom of the shell is light and the top is dark. This is a type of camouflauge that is effective at helping the nautilus blend in with the sea.

Nautilus Shell

Modeled after the  Chapel of the Archangel Michael in Kizhi Island of Karelia (Russia), with a few elements from the Chapel of the Holy Face.

The Chapel of the Archangel Michael was moved to Kizhi in 1961 from the Lelikozero village. It measures 12.0×3.0×11.0 metres and has a rectangular frame elongated from east to west and a two-slope roof. Above the entrance hall there is a belfry capped with a pyramid roof. The iconostasis of the chapel has two tiers and contains icons of 17th–18th centuries

Monte Terminillo is a massif in the Monti Reatini, part of the Abruzzi Apennine range in central Italy. It is located some 20 km from Rieti and 100 km from Rome and has a highest altitude of 2,217 metres (7,274 ft).

It is a typical Apennine massif, both for its morphology, articulated but not exceedingly sharp, and for the fauna and vegetation. Its slopes are separated by the neighbouring smaller massifs by deep valleys, including the Valle Leonina, leading to Leonessa, and the Ravara and Capo Scura valleys leading to that of the Velino River. On the opposite sides are the Valle dell’Inferno (“Hell’s Valley”) and Valle degli Angeli (“Angels’ Valley”) leading to Rieti’s plain and the mounts of Cantalice. Wikipedia

Monte Terminillo - Rock 02

The shape of the foot of the monstrance is similar to an oval with concave-convex  profiling. The ornately decorated slope of the foot is divided into four fields with symbols of the Eucharist (grain ears and bunches of grapes), two heads of angels and the coat of arms of the abbey. Two Austrian (re-marking) hallmarks are present on the flange of the foot. The stem is shaped like a candelabrum, made of smooth rings and decorated with foliate motifs. The pear-shaped nodus is decorated with angel heads. It features a sunburst aureole consisting of bundles of conjoined rays of different lengths. Reservaculum has a trefoil shape and is enclosed in a frame with floral and cornice board decorations. The frame is studded with blue-turquoise stones (artificial gemstones made of coloured glass).

Description
The adult spider is black. 

Females have a characteristic red hourglass-shaped spot on the underside of the abdomen and several red spots near the spider webs and on the back. The body length of the female is 8–10 mm. 

Males differ from females in their small size (3–4 mm in length) and elongated abdomen (in females it is round). The legs of males are painted in orange and black stripes, and there are red and white marks on the sides of the abdomen. 

Young spiderlings are white or yellowish-white and darken with each subsequent molt. 

Habitat
Black widows prefer warm regions: Central Asia, Southern Europe, North Africa. 

Habitat: steppes and deserts, ravine slopes, rodent burrows, soil cracks, under rocks and in plant roots. 

Danger to humans
The black widow is not aggressive towards humans and bites them only for self-defense in a desperate situation (for example, if the spider is crushed by hand).

The Grutenhäuschen is a partially reconstructed Roman burial temple located on a vineyard slope near the community of Igel in Rhineland-Palatinate on the Moselle River. It was restored on the remains of the original burial chamber in 1962 by the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier. In 2001, the upper and front parts of the original temple were reconstructed.

Roman burial temple "Grutenhäuschen"

The chalice has a circular foot with a small flange with a wavy pattern and four straight sections. The slope of the foot has one fold. The cylindrical pelmet of the stem overlaps the base. The nodus is slim, vase-shaped, framed by rings on both sides. The cup is slender with an enlarged edge; it is placed in a basket. The fields of the foot slopes, nodus and basket are alternately fluted and decorated with Regency patterns. The folds of the foot slope, stem rings, cup walls and the fields filled with Regency patterns are gold plated, while the fluted fields are left in a natural silver colour.

Chalice

The chalice has a circular foot with a small flange with a wavy pattern and three straight sections. The slope of the foot has two folds and is covered with floral patterns as well as Regency ornament and palmette shells. The stem of the foot has a bulging shape. The stem is like that of a candelabrum with a vase-like, fluted nodus enclosed in two hexagonal rings. The cup is slender with an everted edge. It is placed in an openwork basket made of floral and Regency ornaments and palmette shells.
It is one of the few historical works of gold that remained in Tyniec after the dissolution of the monastery.

Wolf On MC450 Snow

This figure of a dancing warrior is remarkably similar to its counterpart on Rock 24, and also two figures on another rock at Zurla, on the steep slope running down from the southern end of the Naquane rock Art Park towards Capo Di Ponte.

As is the case for all of these figures, this one holds a sword in his right hand and a small shield in his left.  He wears a decorated helmet or headdress, and exhibits an amimated, dance-like posture.  He dates from the Iron Age 'Naturalistic' period (500-300 BC), designated IV 3 in the Valcamonica chronology.

The statue of Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Jikokuten) is one of the Twenty-Eight Deva Guardians at Sanjūsangendō, a National Treasure​ from the Kamakura period, standing 166 cm tall. As the Heavenly King Who Upholds the Realm​ of the Four Heavenly Kings, he guards the eastern slope of Mount Sumeru, protecting the Buddhist domain. The statue embodies the classic guardian-warrior form, featuring detailed armor, a stern expression, and a solid posture, showcasing the powerful realism characteristic of Kamakura-period Buddhist sculpture.

The clay is characterised by a fine, slightly rough and hard texture. The colour of the artefact is a light orange-brown, with traces of red paint visible on both the interior and exterior surfaces.The outer edge of the object features an appliqué in the shape of a flat, triangular goat’s head. This is positioned at a slight angle and has slit-like eyes and forward-facing ears.

This object was digitized through the ‘Kulturerbe digital’ program of the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Public Service and Sport.

Giza V2.1 is a watertight “digital bas-relief” of the Khufu plateau, built as a procedural heightfield on a polar disc and extruded into a closed manifold (χ=2). 

It includes the Great Pyramid, Queen pyramids, Sphinx with enclosure trench, mortuary temple + causeway, boat pits, temenos wall, and surrounding desert/bedrock. 

The Great Pyramid uses a true square plan (Chebyshev metric) with linear height falloff, Petrie-slope calibration (~51.844°), and subtle 8-face concavity via a cos(4θ) term. 

Masonry is expressed as stepped courses (35 visible bands) plus a casing-to-core transition (smooth lower “Tura” vs rough “Mokattam”). 

Micro-engraved cues mark the north entrance and internal axis (Grand Gallery / King’s Chamber hint). 

Geology is enriched by PAPP/Hopf-derived stone grain, fault harmonics, and erosion weighting stronger at lower elevations.

This 3D model represents the mountain Åreskutan in Åre, Sweden. The terrain has been generated from a digital elevation model and converted into a printable/visual 3D mesh that highlights the natural topography of the mountain, including its ridges, slopes, and valleys.

The model was created using elevation data from Markhöjdmodell Nedladdning, Grid 50+ provided by Lantmäteriet (the Swedish Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registration Authority). The dataset is available under the Creative Commons license, which allows reuse with attribution.

The purpose of this model is to visualize the terrain of Åreskutan in a simplified physical form, suitable for 3D printing, visualization, or educational use.

The monument is a round cairn, a burial monument likely to date to the Bronze Age (second millennium BC). It is visible as a substantial mound of bare stones, measuring approximately 30m in diameter and standing at least 4.5m high. Stones abutting the base of the cairn give the appearance of a platform. The monument is situated on a prominent ridge at a height of 170m OD, on a S-facing slope overlooking the Water of Feugh.

The design reflects a functional response to natural slope variations, where the supporting framework compensates for differences in elevation through a sequence of angular reinforcements and triangulated supports.
The mesh analysis reveals a deliberate distribution of load across inclined beams, emphasizing stability over ornamental detail. Subtle irregularities in the geometry suggest manual construction processes, typical of mid-20th century engineering practices, where precision was balanced with material limitations and on-site adjustments.
