I'm a veteran Maya user. But for my next project I need to know Blender. So this is the first model I made in Blender. I don't know Blender as good as I know Maya of course. So if you ask me what is better, I would say Maya. UV unwrapping is a pain in Blender. Everything about normals is very hard to track. Pivots and snapping is just not as great as in Maya. Any day of the week I would prefer Maya over Blender. That said, I will do a lot more work in Blender for a while. Maybe I'll think different when I understand Blender better. Or maybe not. What I do think, is that Blender is a great tool to start your 3D in.

I made a high(er) polygon version and a super low poly version. I exported them both and did my bakes in Substance (I know I could also have done that in Blender). I textured everything (only 2 UDIMS), what was lots of fun as usual.

Be course Blender is free, and this little project was just for me to learn the software. Will this model also be free for you all! I hope you enjoy it.

The common snapping turtle (*Chelydra serpentina*) is a large freshwater turtle of the family Chelydridae. The Weeping Angels were a species of quantum-locked humanoids, so called because their unique nature necessitated that they often covered their faces with their hands to prevent trapping each other in petrified form for eternity by looking at one another. This gave the Weeping Angels their distinct "weeping" appearance. This, in turn, allowed them to live off the remaining time energy of the victim's life. However, when this potential energy paled in comparison to an alternative power source to feed on, the Angels were known to kill by other means, such as snapping their victims' necks.

Lily Lovebraids. Lily is the most annoying antagonist of Poppy Playtime. Formerly Gracie Green, a former high-ranking counselor at Playtime Co. who psychologically tortured orphans to accept their toy identities. After being captured during the Hour of Joy, she was subjected to her own cruel conditioning by the Prototype, eventually snapping and adopting the persona of the very doll she helped design. She is a tan, ball-jointed doll with long, prehensile purple hair that she can control like scorpion tails or gnarled claws to restrain others, including Kissy Missy. Deeply isolated in her "Dollhouse" on Sweet Street, she remains desperate for the Prototype's approval while talking to a decapitated Candy Cat head to cope with her fractured sanity.

PS1 Screwdriver

The 3-D Hypno-Ring, also called simply a "Hypno-Ring" is a ring-shaped device manufactured by the Li'l Wiseguy Novelty Company. The ring has the dangerous ability to hypnotize people. The user does this by slowly moving their hand back and forth, while the victim has to make direct eye contact with the middle of the ring.

Once under hypnosis, the target does what the user tells them to do. The only known way to snap a person out of their hypnotized state caused by a ring is for the victim's head or face to be in contact with water. However, this causes the victim to slip through trance and reality, triggered by the sound of fingers snapping. There's also a mental blunder in the ring that when a woman is hypnotized, they end up doing the opposite of what they're hypnotized to do. That happened to Tara Ribble and Crackers.
