This shape made of 12 regular pentagons is possibly the least often see of the platonic solids and the most difficult to construct for me personally, but awesome software like Wings3D can make it possible to see what this looks like.

But we had to do a character, which is something I'm fan of, and I made the terrible decision to start the project by it, so after wasting 2 weeks, I had to do the whole locomotive in 2 day, I think the result is pretty okay for that duration

Also it was quite painfull to find the model of the locomotive, I found Alco Consolidation 2-8-0, but its probably the "type" of train, the easier way to find it is "Valley Railroad #97 since they own the train

I made this model solid so that could be 3d-printed, but it seemed not to be a good idea...I feel the need, the need for ZBrush.

I don't know why, the Zip file includes only "madoka-machida1". You can rename it "anyname.zip" to unzip it.

Double Wishbone and Live Axle Suspension

My entry for the Lights, Camera, Immersion! community contest.

This is the environment from the last battle scene in Saving Private Ryan. I chose this because when watching the film the audience becomes so familar with this location. Before the battle Captain Miller goes through the battle plan with the other soldiers while wakling around this area, this gives the viewer a great sense of the lay out of the town. The choreography of the battle itself also makes the audience very aware of where each character is in the town, this ephasises the tension as the Allied soliders are pushed back and back towards "The Alamo", the point at which they have lost the battle and must blow the bridge.

98% of the model is AutoCAD Solid Modeling. Only a few objects with Textures or Materials Mapping, just the chrome material for the blasters and a few other chromed (metalic) parts. I want to make a lifesize replica off this X-Wing or at least a 1/4 Scale prop.
