*'Shiva and his wife Uma sit next to each other on double lotus pedestals, between them a residual remnant of their small child, Skanda, now missing from the magnificent bronze. The standard format—known as Somaskanda—arose as early as the 6th century in temples from Tamil Nadu, and remains Shiva’s main manifest form today. In south Indian temples, bronze images play a huge role in devotional practice, where they are treated as living embodiments of the gods. The holes in the base indicate that this particular bronze would have been carried in processions outside the temple grounds.'*

Another Silver Dollar fish (Mylossoma Duriventre) of the family Serrasalmidae, closely related to pacus and piranha's this one is not aggressive, though a charm to look at, if you manage to stay awake while watching. Its genus, species and lets be honest in or unrealpiranha-ish looks make this a totally different fish but i could not ignore the finns...

Osomatsu-san love letter

Diorama titulado “Vuelta a casa de la 250 División”, realizado por D. Aythami Alonso Torrent y galardonado con el 1º Premio de Dioramas en 2018 en los Premios Ejército. La escena, presentada en escala monocroma dentro de un marco ornamental, representa a un grupo de soldados de la 250.ª División durante su regreso a España tras su servicio en el frente oriental entre 1941 y 1943. Los voluntarios aparecen asomados a un vagón de tren, algunos portando una bandera, en un momento de camaradería y alivio tras la retirada del frente. El diorama evoca el tránsito final de la unidad, conocida popularmente como la División Azul, cuyo despliegue formó parte de la participación española en la campaña contra la Unión Soviética. No se representa armamento ni vehículos específicos, ya que la composición se centra en el acto humano y simbólico del retorno.

Directo desde los campos vibrantes de San Patricio del Chañar, Neuquén, llega Trebolín: la mascota oficial y el alma de la fiesta local de San Patricio. Este entrañable duende, que nace de un trébol de cuatro hojas, irradia la alegría y la magia de las celebraciones. Con su gorro verde festivo que parece una pequeña montaña o un pico de duende, y un trébol de cuatro hojas asomando con picardía, Trebolín es pura buena suerte.

Sus ojos grandes y amigables te invitan a unirte a la diversión, mientras su sonrisa contagiosa y mejillas sonrojadas revelan su espíritu juguetón y bonachón. Su cuerpo redondeado y mullido, como si fuera un suave cojín de musgo, lo hace ver súper abrazable. Viste un mameluco verde brillante, con un detalle que parece un cierre en el frente, y unos botines marrones que sugieren que está listo para brincar y bailar al ritmo de la fiesta.
