Due to non-typical placement of collectors which are shifted to one side, a simple bathroom radiator gains a new character. Despite the asymmetry the radiator form is visually stable and well-balanced. Large spacings between groups of profiles as well as its quite substantial wattage make this radiator a perfect dryer.

WARP S radiator

19th-century slate headstone of Patrick Madden (born c. 1829) who died aged 36 in 1865 & was buried in Nenagh graveyard, Kenyon Street, Co. Tipperary.  The inscription is framed within a border of semi-circles and double incised line running up along either side of the headstone.  The top of the headstone has a double-line inscised Latin Cross with expanded terminals, flanked on either site by an incised heart.  Above the hearts either side of the cross are lozenges framed within a decorative panel.  Two curvilinear lozenges are visible either side of the cross base.  Four leaf-cross withere side of the incised hearts.  Symbols on top of the headstone framed by border of semi-circles which may represent the folds of a a curtain pulled back to reveal the symbols.  Possible curvilinear sunburst quadrants in the corners of the border of the symbols and inscription panel. The horizontal lines visible on the inscription are ruling lines used by the stonecutter to set height, alignment, & spacing of the letters.

This 3D model represents a detailed and realistic stadium seating arrangement designed for sports arenas, event venues, and large-scale environments. The model features tiered seating sections with accurate spacing, alignment, and curvature to replicate real-world stadium architecture.

It includes multiple rows of seats organized in a structured layout, ensuring optimal visibility and crowd capacity simulation. The design reflects typical stadium configurations with aisles, stairways, and sectional divisions for easy navigation and accessibility.

The model is optimized for use in games, animations, architectural visualization, and virtual simulations. It maintains a clean topology and efficient polygon count, making it suitable for both high-quality renders and real-time applications.

This seating arrangement can be easily integrated into larger stadium environments and customized with materials, textures, and lighting to match different scenarios such as football, cricket, or concert venues.

Seating

The 3D model presents a shape for testing virtual textile materials created by unifying geometries of body scans. The initial raw scans were obtained using a VITUS smart 3D scanner. The scans were processed in Rhino and 3dsMax. The shapes are displayed on a scale grid with an 1 cm spacing and UV maps (the maps are not to scale).

Game Aids in Bolt Action are a lot like kitchen gadgets. Some people manage to prepare all their meals with only a chef’s knife and a vegetable peeler, while others have their kitchen drawers stuffed with specialty gadgets for every conceivable culinary task.  I am in the latter group – I can heartly recommend the world’s best garlic dicer – and my game gadget box is currently stuffed with multiple game aids.  At the 2024 CTC Bolt Action tournament in Ottawa, I had the opportunity to play against Matthew Ranks and he had this nifty gadget I had never seen before; it was a simple device, a 1” diameter with a small stick protruding. Matt explained he had received it at a previous Bolt Action tournament. Although Matt wasn’t able to recall the designer of the gadget, kudos to whomever thought of it.  When I got home, I went to work and designed a quick print for such a device; in Bolt Action the 1” spacing between units is important concerning unit placement, firing past friendly units, and other game actions. Although this is often done with a tape measure, the very nature of close contact can make this awkward.  This game aid allows the spacer to be placed easily to confirm a 1” distance, without the risk of knocking any models or terrain feature askew.  The .stl offers a two piece print – the handle friction fits to the base – so it can be easily put together and apart for storage. There is also a one part .stl offered for resin printing.  The test prints were done in FDM at .2mm layers.
