Based on a scan of a replica of the "Mayflower" ship, processed by @spogna and available [here](https://skfb.ly/6u8T6).

Like in the [Mosquito in Amber](https://skfb.ly/6xWCO), most of my attention was spent on normal maps, roughness and refraction settings to try to make this model as realistic as possible.

I actually had to create a secondary internal surface for the bottle, and also relied on clear coat options for the glass material in order to try to give the model a feeling of thickness. 

To try to get the opacity right, I used refraction on the outer layer (normals offset checked), and alpha-blending on the inner one.

All of the modeling was done with Blender, but the critical part for the model aesthetics relies on Sketchfab materials and post-processing.

In a world where a few robots are so advanced that they are seen as gods, this model is a representation of the goddess who keeps and moves the heavens and the stars.

Simple Low-Poly Sci-Fi Spaceship/Starship bridge that I made in my spare time, could also be used as a space station or any futuristic needs :)

I used python and blender to precisely position (units are [parsecs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsec)!) 10000 stars from the [HYG Database](https://github.com/astronexus/HYG-Database). 

The star-planes are randomly rotated though, and keep in mind that the center icosphere representing the earth is exaggeratingly big - by a small factor of about 1.5 billion!!

The (short and ugly) bit of python script I used to make this visualization is available on [PasteBin](https://pastebin.com/0vhdGz59) if anyone is interested!

I am quite happy with the look of this model, stars use a transparent/emissive material mapped to the vertex colors created in blender (from each star "color index" if available in the database), and enhanced with some bloom to create halos... 

Next ideas: plot 100.000 neighbor stars, and maybe the Milky Way from ESA's [Gaia Archive](http://gea.esac.esa.int/archive/). That'd be really awesome!

The starmap used in Minecraft Java Edition.

The stars are randomly generated from a fixed hardcoded seed, 10842, meaning that every Minecraft world shares the same stars. The game makes 1500 attempts to generate a star, but filters out attempts that result in undesirable positions, resulting in 780 successfully generated stars.

Nicknames: "CGI Shield", "Shield in the Sky II", "CGI WB Shield", "Shield of Staleness II", "The Reflection of the WB Backlot", "Shield of Steel II"

Logo: A picture of the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank is seen with a gold tint, and "ripples" slowly before rotating to reveal itself as the WB shield over the quintessential cloud skyline, both of which are now redone in CGI. The shield rotates and zooms out to its usual position, with the company byline fading in underneath.

Trivia: If one pauses right before the transition from the backlot image to the shield animation, posters and murals can be seen on the studio walls on Olive Avenue. As seen in the 75 Years montage, the posters from left to right are: Twister, The Stars Fell on Henrietta, Les Miserables, Space Jam, a The WB Television Network KTLA 5 advertisement, ER, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Murphy Brown, Friends, and a cloud mural featuring shows from Warner Bros. It took 4 days to make 2nd version of TCF 1994-2010 logo remake recreated and aesthetic. I use a Hollywood mountains and city to matched the original animation, i use the camera, plane for the sky and plain axes for the empty to matched the original fox 1994 camera animation. I use spheres for the stars on the sky. I rotated the camera animation at the beginning and middle scenes of the fox 1994 remake. The 2nd version remake is matched to the real logo.

Inspired by fond childhood memories of watching Star Trek with Mum I decided to have a go at modelling the USS Voyager and pushing my substance painter skills.

Just in case my students ask me, this starship model took over 100 hours to create (30 hours to get good edge flow on the overall shape, another 25 hours on the greebling, details,  windows & flashing lights), 5 hours to uv map efficiently and another 40 hours painting the panels and decals from scratch.
The windows were by far the most painful part - booleans are a pain to fix.

Dragon Balls (ドラゴンボール Doragon Bōru) are the namesake artifact of the Dragon Ball series. They are large, crystalline spheres (of varying sizes and colors) that feature five-pointed stars (ranging from one to seven, and also varying in sizes and colors, along with being either rigid or flat in appearance) inside of themselves (akin to glass art); individually, they have no powers, but united they have the ability to call forth their associated Eternal Dragon who can grant (usually) one wish(s).

SpaceX Starship Raptor 3 engine

I wanted to make an interior of a starship that's better than my other ones,  and this is what I came up with. inspired by the TNG starship interior.

it's a rough sketch still, but I will hopefully be adding more details to it.
Like the eating areas need a lot of refinement still. (I have added textures, but I haven't updated it here on Sketchfab yet)


I am working on a game with this in Blender Game Engine, if anyone wants to help me leave a comment below!
