The noses are still bothering me, and I fear I'll have to include a manual step in my scripted workflow to keep more geometry on the face than on the body.

1500 triangles models, 1024px albedo and normal maps. The model materials are from front to back: 

1. albedo + normal map
2. normal map only
3. smoothed normals (no albedo, no normal map)
4. flat shaded

Some low-poly buildings made in lazy way, was made for a mass cityscape in background, now has a night version.

My goal is to make a set of low-poly buildings with 200-300 faces, but still has a decent realistic with some lighting and little post processing.
Since I can only have 3 light on the sketchfab editor, the scene may looks not that good.

2021 BMW M4 Competition

A collection of reprocessed scanned animal skulls ([other free assets here](https://skfb.ly/6yQSW)), initally designed to be used as as game props, particles or for optimized renderings. 

**BUT**:  the method I used for remeshing and texture baking was not adapted in this case, and many normal inversions for instance have happened. Moreover, as these assets were batch-processed, I neglected some parts of the material, hence some black zones on the scans... 

You can of course still use them for your projects, but know that the quality on those baked models is not that good! Plus 1024px is too few for those complex objects...

Each model is made of 2500 triangles, and 1024 pixels albedo and normal maps.

The original scans were first remeshed with [mmgs](http://mmgtools.org), and decimated, UV unwrapped and baked in blender. Normal maps are ready to use for Unreal Engine, don't forget to flip their green channel in Unity!

All the original scans come from the great collection of UVic Libraries - @uviclib .

Modural Robot Mecha Chimera Dyan high-poly mesh

Based on the model by Brundisiensis, with a few tweaks to make it better accommodate texture created from photos of from the real mask. The shape and proportions of the Nemes headdress were altered, the back added, the cobra and vulture enlarged, and the collar trimmed. The original eyes were smoothed over since they don't correspond too well with the photographed eyes. Had to modify some photos, so as to get the chin behind the beard, without the beard being projected onto it, also the stripes behind the cobra etc. Also a back to the headdress was added, though I still need to do the back of the collar

Tutankhamun Gold Mask

Back with another one of my NPR journey milestones.

This is the Character of the Monk class from a rather obscure dungeon crawler game series called "Etrian odyssey" I really love the art style of the Character sprite so I decided to attempt to imitate its art style.

This model took me the longest to make yet, simply because I have to learn a lot of new stuff this time and the rigging is more detailed (I used rigify). I also tried to lower my polygon count as much as I can while still making the character looks good and ended up with around 20k polygon (around 10k if no outline) big improvement from 70k+ I had before.

[Etrian Odyssey 3] Monk

Hi! This is slightly optimized version of this project: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xggaR  The model still pretty heavy with all the textures (at least for my machine), but... it looks pretty decent for my opinion. :)  All work (sculpting, polymodeling, texturing) done in blender. This is a 3D Model of Kindred, from League of Legends, created from the ground up, this model is based on the game, but taking some liberties like having a more "realistic" body, but still trying to have the same type of feeling as the game.

It contains 2 posible versions, one for Rigging and the other one 3D Printing. All for Free! A collection of lowpoly (1500 triangles each) birds, reprocessed in blender from Sketchfab 3D scans and models (have a look at my [other similar assets](https://skfb.ly/6AQyA), or at [this blog post](https://blog.sketchfab.com/tutorial-low-poly-assets-from-3d-scans) to know more about the process I used).

Not all of them turned out as I had hoped (because of poor original meshes), and I had to cut some birds legs not to spend too much time removing the supports (branches, rocks...), but I'm still quite happy with the result.

A .fbx as well as a .blend are available in the archive, along with a "credits" file in which you will find all the links to the original models. Most of the original assets come from [darwinmuseum.ru](https://sketchfab.com/darwinmuseum.ru) and [Innovation Studio](https://sketchfab.com/cmp_innovation_studio) though, so thanks to them!
