Masada (Hebrew: מצדה‎ metsada, "fortress") is an ancient fortification in the Southern District of Israel situated on top of an isolated rock plateau, akin to a mesa. It is located on the eastern edge of the Judaean Desert, overlooking the Dead Sea 20 km (12 mi) east of Arad.
Herod the Great built palaces for himself on the mountain and fortified Masada between 37 and 31 BCE. According to Josephus, the siege of Masada by troops of the Roman Empire at the end of the First Jewish–Roman War ended in the mass suicide of 960 people, the Sicarii rebels and their families hiding there.

I ususally name my trains after people that I love.  One of them is named “Ready Brek” which was my brother’s nickname from when he was a child. He tradically died taking his own life on 4th July 2010. No family should have endure this devastating loss. No mother or father should have to bury their child in these circumstances. Bio: 
The Sedgewick Hotel traditionally auctioned off a family Thanksgiving feast and donated the proceeds to charity (usually the St. Nicholas Rehabilitation Mission for Wayward Angels).

In 1937, Arbison Morguncher, a wealthy but lonely epicurean, bid upon and won the feast. On Thanksgiving Day, he arrived to dine alone. The Sedgewick's manager protested that the feast was intended for more than 12 people, but Morguncher insisted that he be fed the entire meal. The Manager shrugged, and finally relented.

Morguncher sat down and ate the entire meal, leaving not a crumb. "My compliments to the Chef," he said, seven hours later. Swallowing the last bite, he died from a gastric rupture due to massive overeating.

Authorities later found a suicide note at Morguncher's home. It told that he intended to die while indulging his greatest fantasy.

Le Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka (Sakura/Fleur de Cerisier), surnommé « Baka » (imbécile) par les Alliés, était un engin suicide à réaction conçu par la Marine Impériale japonaise pour la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.  Principalement utilisé sous la forme du Modèle 11, il s'agissait d'un planeur monoplace transporté par un bombardier Mitsubishi G4M2e « Betty » et largué à environ 30 km de la cible. 

Après le largage, le pilote guidait l'appareil en planant avant d'allumer ses trois moteurs-fusées à propergol solide, atteignant des vitesses supersoniques (jusqu'à 1 040 km/h en piqué) pour percuter les navires avec une ogive de 1 200 kg d'ammonal.  Bien que redoutable par sa vitesse et sa puissance de feu, l'Ohka souffrait d'une portée limitée qui exposait les bombardiers mères aux chasseurs alliés, et n'a réussi à couler ou endommager sérieusement qu'une poignée de navires américains, principalement lors de la bataille d'Okinawa en 1945

A Tanto is a short edged weapon that looks very similar to the famous western daggers. It can have one or two edges and the blade length ranges from 15 to 30 centimeters. This is not a small Katana but a weapon in its own right formerly used by samurai and ninjas. Although today many people use it as a decorative element almost like a miniature katana the truth is that it was always a weapon that was carried on the obi or belt. In ancient times in the times of the medieval swords of Japan and also later the tanto was a widespread weapon as a ceremonial object. In fact it came to replace the wakizashi or kodachi during the ritual known as harakiri or seppuku which is the suicide ceremony of disgraced samurai in order to regain their honor after a dishonor.
