Imported my old cathedral build and updated it with new blocks, new building techniques, and new surroundings. It was a self-challenge to see how realistic I can make it using only blocks/textures/techniques available in vanilla minecraft. The map was made on a 1.8 build server but packed & uploaded in 1.12.

Had to remove some features from the map during export due to technical difficulties, so it's better to check out the map ingame if you can. The lightmap res is pretty small for each block due to the number of blocks in the whole scene.

# McLaren MP4/5

The McLaren MP4/5, and its derived sister model, the MP4/5B, were highly successful Formula One racing cars designed by the McLaren Formula One team based in Woking, England, and powered by Honda's naturally-aspirated RA109E and RA100E V10 engines respectively. The chassis design was led by Neil Oatley, teaming up with Steve Nichols, Pete Weismann, Tim Wright, Bob Bell and Mike Gascoyne. As with the previous designs, Gordon Murray, as Technical Director, had the role of liaising between the drawing office and production. Osamu Goto was the Honda F1 team chief designer for the car's engine.

3D scan of Franz Viehböck's Sokol space suit that he wore on his flight to the space station MIR. Franz Viehböck studied electronics engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, and became the first and as of today only Austrian Astronaut. On the 2nd of October, 1991, the Sojus-TM-13-rocket started in Baikonur (KAZ). The commander of the Austromir mission was the Russian Alexander Volkov and the third man was the Kazakh Toktar Aubakirov. 

The space suit is no longer exhibited at the Natural History Museum Vienna, but was on display from 2015–2021. It will be put on display at the Technical Museum Vienna. We want to thank Franz Viehböck for the opportunity to scan and present this piece of Austrian history!

Raw scan made on cinema movie projector that is standing in Kijów Centrum Cimena in Kraków, Poland
It was used for 35mm tape. Produced in the 1961 by Łódzkie Zakłady Kinotechniczne in Poland. The projector was designed for cinemas with rooms up to 1000 seats. It was then one of the most popular models used in Polish cinemas

The projector was equipped with an aspherical mirror with a diameter of 356 mm and a focal length of 120 mm. The standard lens provided by the manufacturer was Polkinar 1.8 / 100

The basic equipment of the projector was an optical sound reading system with two exposure bulbs - one in the working position, the other one in reserve (both fixed in the rotating holder, which allowed for exchange without interrupting the projection). In addition, the projector could be equipped with a 4-channel magnetic sound pickup

The projector was powered by a three-phase asynchronous motor. The engine was started using an automatic starter.

[FREE] 2CV Charleston 1986

The Philippines is home to many abandoned relics and one building that stands out is the old Diplomat Hotel in Baguio City.  Formerly a convent and seminary, the building was converted into a hotel after World War II.  The building holds a very gory history of violence and torture.  Local legend has it that it is home to hundreds of tortured souls searching for justice from their terrible demise.  
Even with its haunted history, the building itself is a beautiful relic of its once glorious past.  I took a lot of creative license with the dilapidation of the interior.  The building itself is still pretty much intact and if you have the heart of a thrill seeker, I urge you to visit the actual site.

**Description**
Devil's Slide was the location of a military triangulation station and observation site used during World War II as part of the harbor defense of San Francisco. Prior to the advent of radar, military personnel used binoculars and compasses to search for ships at sea and relay their coordinates to a central post. By combining information from multiple observation posts, a ship's precise location could be determined by triangulation. There were six military structures at the Devil's Slide: three concrete and steel observation pill-boxes, two concrete and earth bunkers, and a reinforced steel observation tower. Military Container  Free

This is a simple model made in 1h 30mins to illustrate how to create distant background elements easily. The model only uses a single shot from Studio Ghibli's film Porco Rosso.

The technical quality of the model is quite bad, and it looks awful if viewed from different angles or from close up. However, the main point is that you dont need good topology or create every single model into perfection just for a simple background element. This looks pleasant from a distance, and it only took 1:30 hours to make, so there's that.

I made an updated version of my previous hand reference model, this time with much better topology and a more anatomically accurate form. Low-Poly and High-poly are both included in this model. This version has only 3-poles, 4-poles, and 5-poles, and consists entirely of quads, meaning no tris or ngons. The topology is optimized for games.
