Each model is made of 1500 triangles, and has its origin located on the ground plane. Obviously, scans with multiple people have a lower precision.

I removed the textures to keep the faces as flat shaded, as this is the step I'm currently thinking about: geometry.
In particular, how to keep the characters nose - otherwise the face feels too flat - while remeshing in my (automated) workflow.

This could be done by specifying, with just one manual intervention (but not automated anymore!), the face as a zone of higher resolution and giving this input as a metric to [mmgs](http://mmgtools.org). Will think about it...

WIP - Lowpoly People - 1

hi friends, ive made this model for a few reasons, first as a thank u to all the friends who have supported me so far, and also to see if ive gotten any better at not so low poly modeling, also cuz mori is very cute , whew i was confused the whole way up while making the model, hope ya friends like it , im thinking i may update the model latercuz the rig, whewwww totally a rushed job, still im kinda pleased on how it ended up looking, and maybe make a kiara or something like that whew

anyway, thank u friends for the support ive gotten so far, i wanna give this model so all frens can play with not so low poly mori and have fun and stuff!

A quick experiment (edit: now a WIP for the [mechanimal challenge](https://blog.sketchfab.com/sketchfab-3d-modeling-challenge-mechanical-animals/) I just discovered!) with hard-surface, and I still have a long way to go !

This model is (more than) based on ["The Timber Beneath"](http://www.scoobasteve.co.nz/2013/01/the-timber-beneath.html), a wonderful sculpture by **Stephen Lambert**.

The different "organs" as well as textures were just randomly thrown around, but with some more practicing, I definitely think I'll start enjoying this style and find a nice designing/modeling/texturing workflow, to hopefully design original models some day.

Also, none of the mechanisms make any "mechanical sense", which is why I did not animate the model. As before, that could change with some more attention brought to details, and a little bit of thinking before acting :D

Our free, fun-loving, happy-go-lucky character with great ambition and a huge appetite, often thinking with his stomach and comically gorging himself Luffy is a character from One Piece who is known for his straw hat and elastic limbs. He is a cheerful, optimistic, and good-hearted captain who is willing to risk his life to protect his crew and become King of the Pirates. Luffy is also ambitious and has a big appetite, sometimes thinking with his stomach and eating a lot. He is not as dimwitted as some think, and often shows more understanding than others expect.

That was a great model for me I learned lots of great things when I was modelling this model =). First of all I learned how to handle creating stylized building =). In addition I learned lots great things about sculpting wood, metal etc.. I am really happy about ending but I am not thinking to model a house again in a short time :D

This backpack was made to learn zbrush back in january , I sculpted every highpoly details in Zbrush then Textured in substance painter . I used anchor points in substance painter to make the texture as detailed as i could and tried to mimic real life references .
Backpack Model was made inside Blender & zbrush and textured in substance painter and Post processed in Adobe Photoshop & Davinci resolve . The scene building that is in artstation was  done in UE5 using Quixel Megascan assets as I didnot have time to make other assets apart from the backpack . Sound effects of the video were taken from opengameart website .

Old Backpack ( Renewed Hope)

This is a recreation of my favorite Calvin and Hobbes art! I wanted to experiment with a "traditional" 2D appearance while thinking about how it looks in a low-poly 3D environment.

The models were made in Zbrush and Maya, and the textures were painted in Substance Painter and Photoshop.

The book is quit old and contains a Chinese general's war tactices. Although one could still learn something about war from reading it, it is more and more appreciated as a management book. That is because of the strategic thinking and high level tacitcs that he explains and that could be used in a management context as well. Worth a read? You can get it for free and it's a very classical book so yes.

The object itself didn't take me too long but the texturing...never again do I ad 16 "pages" with a texture on each front and back....But I commited to it so each of the pages has it's unique text that comes from the book. For the chinese characters, I googled some chinese words for "peace" "war" "victory" etc and put them there. I was already told by a way more fluent Mandarin speaking person that those are not appropriate for the time of Sun Tzu so sorry for that but I hope they do their job.

Hi mates I hope you are fine =). This is 3.th model of #3december2020 and theme is cards. Actually I was thinking about to do something with playing cards but I couldnt find original idea so I modeled this harry potter cards. I especially spend a huge time to retopo of frog. I started to retopo process on his head and I was going pretty well until its hands I nearly handled front hands but I stucked at topology of back hands =) But I think I will handle good topology login in a few more attemps =).

D'Arcy Thompson acquired a set of Blaschka's exquistely delicate glass models in 1888. In Growth and Form, D'Arcy refers repeatedly to the art of the glass-blower, perhaps thinking of these very models.  

Scanned with a Nikon XT H 225ST micro CT scanner.  The resulting file is exported as an stl. and imported in to Zbrush.

Blaschka Glass Model of Moon Jellyfish

This automated clock is one half of a pair, the other one is a female lion.

When the clock strikes inside the lion its eyes start rolling, the jaws open and close.

The skin covering the machinery has become worn over the years. We will have to imagine a thick mane and a golden fur on the lion.

To modern eyes the clock looks like a toy. To the 17th century spectator, it was a precious little miracle and a display of human progress. The lion was a symbol of Africa, a continent that the Europeans had recently started discovering. The clock work was a result of the human efforts to control time and the machinery showed the new mechanical knowledge.


The drawer in the clock once contained a key to the clock work, possibly a description of it and, perhaps, remains of a real lion.


It was typical for the 17th century thinking that the lion clocks were a pair. Two halves forming a whole was an important concept.

My final entry for the statues texturing challenge organized by Sketchfab and SMK on the theme of gender representation in classical sculpture.

**My interpretation**

I tried to infuse this model with the theme of the sea, thinking of this statue as an old ship figurehead.

Burnt and torn apart during fierce marine battles, it was then meticulously repaired by the ship's captain, who replaced the damaged parts with inclusions of aquamarine, and finalized his craft with seals of gold. 

I love to imagine the captain as a very masculine yet paradoxical man, a bearded giant letting his deepest emotions, hidden to its pairs, appear through his delicate work.

Textured in blender by cautiously mixing PBR textures, then baked to the unmodified challenge's model. Post-processing and lighting were kept simple to emphasize the texturing work.

Civrali Illustrated - The First Mark

I've been thinking for a long time that it's time to update my avatar. And so I finally found the time and energy to model.
