Model Title: TCF 1994 Recreation (1st Version) The 1st version is matched to the original open matte logo. I matched the original TCF 1994 camera animation. When the logo is made in CGI, the Hollywood city is revealed. I make some structure parts metallic and polished. I use the volume scatter for the searchlights to make it completely transparent. Refraction Demo: S**t happens

I used python and blender to precisely position (units are [parsecs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsec)!) 10000 stars from the [HYG Database](https://github.com/astronexus/HYG-Database). 

The star-planes are randomly rotated though, and keep in mind that the center icosphere representing the earth is exaggeratingly big - by a small factor of about 1.5 billion!!

The (short and ugly) bit of python script I used to make this visualization is available on [PasteBin](https://pastebin.com/0vhdGz59) if anyone is interested!

I am quite happy with the look of this model, stars use a transparent/emissive material mapped to the vertex colors created in blender (from each star "color index" if available in the database), and enhanced with some bloom to create halos... 

Next ideas: plot 100.000 neighbor stars, and maybe the Milky Way from ESA's [Gaia Archive](http://gea.esac.esa.int/archive/). That'd be really awesome!

The ears may not be transparent when imported into blender. If thats the case, go to the materials tab and scroll down until you see 'Settings'. Under settings is Blend Mode. Click the drop down next to Blend Mode (usually says Opaque) and choose **Alpha Clip.** That should be all!!

It can also be used for things like varnish on wooden furniture, wet surfaces, or anything that benefits from having multiple layers. I made a shader in blender where it averages the color of your baked textures and replaces the areas with transparent strokes. It gives a very cool effect. Finally did some Shantae fanart!
Texture is done in an airbrush style and can be used either unlit or for PBR. The pantlegs and arm cloths can also be rendered transparently if needed.

I also gave it a basic rig and an animation specifically for showcasing here, but it might be too simple to do anything with rig-wise.

An "augmented" scan of the family's country house granite fireplace ([here](https://skfb.ly/6HSFy) is a scan of the building), which was the absolute "central piece" of the house when it was still a farm.

Although there is still room for improvement on the modeling and rendering, I've tried to "upgrade" the raw scan in Blender by adding some firewood as well as recreating a simple virtual fire (which I'd love to try and animate later), made of transparent flame textures and two simple particle systems representing flying embers.

Fully textured and rigged Redcap Oranda goldfish model with sample animation.

Redcap Oranda as the name suggests is a breed of goldfish with silver body and red wen which resembles a cap attached to its head.  Known as Tancho goldfish in Japan, this breed and rest of Oranda goldfishes actually have nothing to do with the country of Netherlands (Holland, where the word Oranda came from).

So I wanted to show off the long transparent fins, resulting in the rear view sexy shot for thumbnail.  Please spin it around to also see its cute wen covered face!

The Void Chelicerate is a subspecies of the striking red Chelicerate in other biomes of Sector Zero of 4546B. This subspecies has gotten much larger, more aggressive, and other changes. One of these changes is how the Void Chelicerate has these orange eyes and a pale white carapace, with patches of what seem to be scars, infected tissue, or something else of the sort. The mandibles are also more green than black, and the transparent fins are also light blue. They can be found in the Void that surrounds the entierity of Sector Zero, like the one at The Crater.

1P/Halley – Comet Nucleus with Gas Emissions

This model depicts 1P/Halley, one of the most famous periodic comets in the solar system. The nucleus is represented as a dark, irregular body with a rugged, uneven surface, inspired by observations from historic spacecraft encounters.

Localized gas emissions are modeled using semi-transparent geometry and emissive materials to suggest natural outgassing as volatile ices sublimate when the comet approaches the Sun. The faint blue-violet coloration reflects ionized gases commonly associated with cometary activity in space.
