I was looking for some abandoned places and this picture held my attention :

The cross vaults were a bit tricky to model but nothing compared to the texture baking (all the crashes while rendering drove me nut!!).

Old church modeling - Interior Scene

Whew, certainly didn't think I'd be doing extras considering I did the whole main cast!
Here's a selection of fanmade mod characters I modelled, I made the ones that I particularly enjoyed and found interesting!

Each character is fully rigged, most have facial shape keys, and include extra props!

Friday Night Funkin' - Mods

This is the old Polygraph Printing machines manufacturing facility in Leipzig Leutzsch. Built in 1910, this facility was used to produce printing machines that got sold all over the world until the wall came down in 1989. After that it was closed and a fire destroyed part of the building. I scanned the building with a Mavic 2 Pro, used RealityCapture to compute a 30 Million and a 300K Poly Version and then moved the Detail from High to Low via Normal Maps. This building was tricky as the side with the text was behind trees. Shooting in Winter let me get rid of most of them but to use it in Production I would probably add trees again on that side. Roughness maps were created and edited via ShaderMap4.

Little bridge found in a botanic park in britanny - France - Very cute japanese garden scenery I had to try to take the atmosphere of the scene.. not that easy, the weather wasn't that good and lightning tricky. Not enough pics of the under part. 8k textures / I tried to not make a mesh too big.

Musée du Louvre, Paris, France. This one was tricky to shoot : there are spotlights close to the capital and therefore a lot of lens flare. The lens hood helped a lot.

I was still sitting on some models from 2017 for a while. Here's one I made in December for my younger sister Rhona. It's a model of Ori from the game Ori and the Blind Forest, a game that she and I adore very much. 
I sculpted and printed this figure with the idea to add a LED light inside. I can freely change colours, animations and brightness with a remote and change the batteries from time to time. 
Sanding the print was tricky and the layers are very visible unfortunately but overall it turned out as I hoped smiley

The ruined church of St Andrew's in South Huish, South Hams, Devon, England. The church is now in the care of the Friends of Friendless Churches (https://friendsoffriendlesschurches.org.uk/). An annual (outdoor!) service still continues at this chuch. The church was abandoned when the congregation began to move to the larger nearby village of Galmpton.

St Andrew's is free to visit and although parking and access (narrow lanes) are a little tricky it is definitely worth the effort.

Date: 13th Century (nave and chancel), 15th Century (tower probably).

This is an visualisation of Evelyns house seen in Two and a half men.
It was a little tricky because all scenes change whenever her House is on Screen, like the pictures or the layout where the furnitures stand.

Merry Christmas! Final free project for Christmas, this was fun (though tricky for some parts of it), and of course I'm not 100% happy with it, but that's life! Hopefully there's something here for you to enjoy and use. ;)

Tricky The Clown (RIGGED)

I snapped a bunch of photos of the giant rotating globe fashioned for NASA now displayed at EROS Data Center to make this map. The globe was commissioned by NASA to help familiarize early astronauts with what they would see from orbit. The globe is rotating slowly but it was still tricky trying to capture enough of the surface for Europe to be sure I'd be able to generate a relief map. I ended up using 20 of my best photos.

This is a 3D replica of the suit used in the films "Spider-Man 2" (2004) & "Spider-Man 3" (2007). Tried to make it as close to the original suit while taking some creative liberties. This has a Mixamo rig (with fixed up weights and additional twist bones) and 4k png textures.

Some areas of the webbing might be a little messy due to this being my first time doing this suit (which might make posing a little tricky) and might not be 1:1, feel absolutely free to edit, modify or port to any program or game as you please.
