El Palacio de Bellas Artes es un recinto cultural ubicado en el Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México, considerado el más importante en la manifestación de las artes en México y una de las casas de ópera más renombradas del mundo. Éste mismo ha sido escenario y testigo de impactantes acontecimientos tanto artísticos, sociales y políticos del país; su construcción data del final de mandato de Porfirio Díaz, por encargo del presidente mexicano con motivo de la celebración del centenario del inicio de la Independencia de México, más fue inaugurado hasta el 29 de septiembre de 1934 tras el estallido de la Revolución mexicana. Como institución, depende del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA), parte de la Secretaría de Cultura del gobierno federal. En 1987 fue declarado por la Unesco un monumento patrimonio de la humanidad.

Ellora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, India. It is one of the largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes in the world, featuring Hindu, Buddhist and Jain monuments, and artwork, dating from the 600–1000 CE period.Cave 16, in particular, features the largest single monolithic rock excavation in the world, the Kailasha temple, a chariot shaped monument dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Kailasha temple excavation also features sculptures depicting the gods, goddesses and mythologies found in Vaishnavism, Shaktism as well as relief panels summarizing the two major Hindu Epics.

There are over 100 caves at the site, all excavated from the basalt cliffs in the Charanandri HillsAll of the Ellora monuments were built during Hindu dynasties such as the Rashtrakuta dynasty, which constructed part of the Hindu and Buddhist caves, and the Yadava dynasty, which constructed a number of the Jain caves.

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England, two miles (3 km) west of Amesbury. Mount Carmel is a coastal mountain range in northern Israel stretching from the Mediterranean Sea towards the southeast. A number of towns are situated there, most notably the city of Haifa, Israel's third largest city, located on the northern and western slopes. The range is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. 

Due to the lush vegetation on the sloped hillside, and many caves on the steeper side, Carmel became the haunt of criminals. In ancient Canaanite culture, high places were frequently considered to be sacred, and Mount Carmel appears to have been no exception.  

In mainstream Jewish, Christian, and Islamic thought, Elijah is associated with the mountain, and he is regarded as having sometimes resided on the mountain.  The Bible's book of 1 Kings 18, records a showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. In that account, the God of Elijah sends fire from heaven to consume a sacrifice of testing, proving which diety is the true and living one.  The event takes place on this mountain.   -Nate Loper

This is a 3D model of a replica of the leaning tower of Pisa! This famous torre illustrates the most popular and characteristic monument of Pisa and I got it as a souvenir, when I visited Italy. This 3D model is a project built within the course of “Digitization Technologies, Techniques and Applications”. Leaning Tower of Pisa, alternatively “Italian Torre Pendente di Pisa” is a medieval freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, famous for the settling of its foundations, which caused it to lean 5.5 degrees (about 15 feet [4.5 metres]) from the perpendicular in the late 20th century. Extensive work was subsequently done to straighten the tower, and its lean was ultimately reduced to less than 4.0 degrees. The tower is included in the Piazza del Duomo UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was declared in 1987. Today, it is one of the most touristic attractions in Italy and a great site to take creative pictures.

Paimio Sanatorium is a former tuberculosis sanatorium in Paimio, Southwest Finland, designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. 

Aalto received the design commission having won the architectural competition for the project held in 1929. The building was completed in 1933, and soon after received critical acclaim both in Finland and abroad. 

The building served exclusively as a tuberculosis sanatorium until the early 1960s, when it was converted into a general hospital. Today the building is owned by Turku University Hospital but is not functioning as a hospital; rather, the building has functioned as private rehabilitation center for children since 2014. The sanatorium has been nominated to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, otherwise known as Sagrada Família, is a church under construction in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world. Designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), his work on Sagrada Família is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site On 7 November 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it a minor basilica.

On 19 March 1882, construction of the Sagrada Família began under architect Francisco de Paula del Villar. In 1883, when Villar resigned, Gaudí took over as chief architect, transforming the project with his architectural and engineering style, combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms. Gaudí devoted the remainder of his life to the project, and he is buried in the church's crypt. At the time of his death in 1926, less than a quarter of the project was complete.
