A simplified, low-poly model of **Volkswagen Beetle** from **1968**. Modeled in *Blender 2.8* (***old*** version from July 13th 2020), ***newer*** in *Blender 3.6* (version from May 16th 2025), textured in *Substance 3D Painter* and *Inkscape*.

I decided to upload both versions - the old and the new one, to show the progress I have made over these 5 years.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI was unveiled in 1975 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The UK market had to wait a further two years for vehicles to arrive - 1977 saw 34 examples, all of them left hand drive, sold in the GTI's first tentative year.

The GTI was powered by a 1,588 cc four cylinder engine with K-Jetronic fuel injection it developed 110 PS at 6,100 rpm and 103 lbs ft of torque at 5,000 rpm. This allowed the GTI, which weighed 810 kg unladen, to hit 60 mph from standstill in nine-seconds before reaching a top speed of 110 mph.

About car: The Volkswagen Virtus is a subcompact sedan (B-segment) manufactured by the German automaker Volkswagen since 2018. It is based on the Polo Mk6 with an extended wheelbase and the same Volkswagen Group MQB A0 platform, which it also closely shares with the Taigo/Nivus and T-Cross/Taigun. It was first introduced in Brazil in November 2017, with sales starting in January 2018. From Brazil, the vehicle has been exported throughout Latin America. This is my Volkswagen Type 2, also knows as T1, Split bus, 1st VW Transporter, splitscreen bus.
It has been lowered, narrowed front beam, porsche Fuchs rims.
Started as a downloaded sketchup model, which I modified to look like my bus.

The 1983 GTI 1.8 used carry-over engine, but lacked a little fizz of the original because of the additional weight of the body. That was restored by the arrival of the 16V in 1986, which pushed power to 136bhp and dropped the 0-60mph time to under 8 seconds

1992 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk2

The original car was controlled by the rudder. It is difficult to control the direction of the vehicle by transferring the violent vibration to the driver. When the engine was installed in the front of the car, the driver could not use the rudder to drive the car because of the weight increase. The new design of steering wheel arises at the historic moment. The gear system introduced between the driver and the wheel can operate flexibly and isolate the violent vibration from the road. Not only that, a good steering wheel system can also give the driver a feeling of intimacy with the road.
