A stone inscribed in blacklettering (Gothic script) in the back side of the so called screen wall at St Mary's Church (now museum, whatever the name is when you read this) in Kilkenny. It is built into the wall upside down, but I have flipped it to make it easier to read:

"[...]?ny · quondam · burgensis · ville [...]<br />[...] · precorut · tua · i(n)ettabili · mia & gra[tia] ·tol? [...]<br />[...] · su[n]t · et · sepelientur · in · isto · loco · ame[n]" (partly taken from HEV description, but some of it is my reading).

The HEV gives the translation "ye sometime burgess of the town (of Kilkenny) / say a prayer you (who pass) and / was buried in this place. Amen." (line breaks added by me - it shold be "were buried", bc the verb is in the plural form)

The Northrop/McDonnell Douglas YF-23 is an American single-seat, twin-engine, supersonic stealth fighter aircraft technology demonstrator designed for the United States Air Force (USAF).

The design was a finalist in the USAF's Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) competition, battling the Lockheed YF-22 for a production contract. Two YF-23 prototypes were built.

The YF-23 was stealthier and faster, but less agile than its competitor. After a four-year development and evaluation process, the YF-22 was announced the winner in 1991 and the design was developed into the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor, which first flew in 1997 and entered service in 2005.

The two YF-23 prototypes are currently museum exhibits.

Bulinus senegalensis (O. F. Müller, 1781)

EN: A small blue-white porcelain pouring vessel, with spout but missing the its neck, presumably Chinese, of a type also referred to as 'kendi'. Likely 17th century, making it quite a bit older than the 19th-century shipwreck it was found in. Dimensions: height 9.1 cm, largest body diam. 9 cm. Kept at the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Depot at Museum Batavialand. Excavated from shipwreck NM20 (a freighter carrying buckwheat husks), found near Bant in the Noordoostpolder, the province of Flevoland, the Netherlands. Wreck date: 1815-1825.
