This magnificent armour made [King Erik XIV](https://bit.ly/2XHLbZ0) of Sweden look imposingly triumphant. In true renaissance spirit, the motifs on the armour were borrowed from ancient myths, the characteristics of which lent themselves perfectly to the Swedish history and national symbols of that time.

The armour was probably made in [Arboga](https://bit.ly/2FQKrGy), Sweden, around 1562, from where it was sent to Antwerp in Belgium to be decorated by the goldsmith Elisaeus Libaerts. The opaque gilt ornamentation has been [repousséd](https://bit.ly/2xuxmy0) from the back and chased from the front. 

Perhaps the armour was worn by King Erik XIV on 2 October 1564 when, following a military campaign in [Blekinge](https://bit.ly/2KUVNNQ) in the South of Swedan, he returned to Stockholm with his military entourage. Whilst winding its way through the streets of Stockholm, the procession was showcasing chained prisoners of war from Denmark, a motif that can also be found on the armour.

Although his contemporaries criticized his style and his choice of animal subjects, Barye is today esteemed as the founder of the Parisian animaliers.
The noble lion, representing the new King and the people of France, is shown in a triumphant struggle against the serpent, symbolizing Charles X (reigned 1824–1830) and the ousted Bourbon dynasty. The pair additionally suggests a celestial sanction for Louis-Philippe’s reign by alluding to the constellations of Leo (the lion) and Hydra (the sea serpent), which “ruled the heavens” during the days of the July Revolution (July 27-30, 1830).

The scanned sculpture is a copy made by Guy Hain, who is a French art forger who produced number of fake bronze sculptures.
The Lion is located by the entrance of Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen.

The Triumph Spitfire is an iconic British sports car and a great classic car. That is mostly thanks to its name, with the car named after Britain's World War II fighter aircraft, the Supermarine Spitfire. Powered by an inline 4 engine, this model is a 1972 spitfire with special addition seats.

This is the biggest model I have posted in Sketchfab, that could make it slow to load. This model of the masterchief monument - executed by French sculptor Aimé-Jules Dalou, is made from almost 500 photos of 24 MPixel (taken from the ground) with ContextCapture, the photogrammetry software of Acute3D, Bentley Systems. I did not retouch the mesh, only cropped it, remove texture, made ambient occlusion in Meshlab, used lighting of Sketchfab.

Built around the skeletal remains of the Godzilla that attacked Tokyo in 1954, Kiryu was an advanced cyborg designed to defend Japan from the kaiju that frequently menace it, particularly the current Godzilla. Kiryu first saw action in 2003 when he was deployed to battle Godzilla when he surfaced at Hakkeijima. However, Godzilla's roar awakened the original Godzilla's restless spirit that was attached to Kiryu's skeleton, causing the machine to go berserk. Kiryu was recalled and his programming altered so this incident could never occur again, then was sent out against Godzilla a second time when he landed at Tokyo. Kiryu fought Godzilla to a draw, leaving him with a gruesome chest wound and himself losing an arm. Kiryu was rebuilt over the course of a year, and sent into combat with Godzilla again when he returned to Tokyo. Kiryu fought alongside Mothra and her twin larvae, and finally triumphed against his organic counterpart by reopening the wound on Godzilla's chest.

The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile; lit. 'Triumphal Arch of the Star') is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, France, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle, formerly named Place de l'Étoile—the étoile or "star" of the juncture formed by its twelve radiating avenues. The location of the arc and the plaza is shared between three arrondissements, 16th (south and west), 17th (north), and 8th (east). The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. 1975 Triumph TR6

The Triumph TR6 is a 1960s British sports car, powered by a straight six engine making up to 160hp. While the car didn't sell as well as expected it was the basis for car such as the mazda rx., Which is engine sound and overall concept was inspired by, so the old tr6 still lives on as the basis for many  modern roadsters.

Triumph Dolomite Sprint

The equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius is a larger-than-life bronze statue of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius. Its original site is unknown, but it may have been part of a triumphal arch on whose attic it stood. According to medieval sources, a small barbarian figure kneeling in front of a horse was part of the statue. The dating of the statue, which was originally completely gilded, is disputed and fluctuates between the years around 165 AD with a reference to the triumph over the Parthians in 166 AD, the 170s with a reference to the Marcomannic Wars and a dating only to the time of Commodus' autocratic rule from 180 AD onwards. 

A cast stands in the city of Tulln an der Donau. The statue is intended as a reminder of the centuries-long presence of the Romans on the Danube border.

3D model of the Marc Anton monument next to the Secession building in Vienna's 1st district. The large bronze sculpture from 1899/1900 is by Arthur Strasser, who created his work for the Paris World's Fair in 1900. It shows the Roman general and politician Marcus Antonius, comfortably reclined in a triumphal chariot. Antonius is dressed in a tunic and has a toga lying across his body. The chariot is pulled by a team of lions consisting of a male lion in the center and two lionesses. Next to the chariot is a led lioness, who nestles against the chariot with her eyes closed. During a bombing of Vienna on February 7, 1945, it was pierced by bomb fragments and restored in 1956.

3D scan of a bearded man wearing a belt set with rubies. The coiled, crowned serpent symbolises the ruby as a dracontia (dragon stone), heroically extracted from the wild. Held aloft in triumph, it also represents the Philosopher’s Stone – the ultimate goal of all knowledge. The vial for elixir symbolises the healing properties attributed to this stone.

The figure was created by Rudolf Weyr (1847-1914) and is part of the decorative program in Hall IV of the Natural History Museum.

The statue of Vaiśravaṇa (Bishamonten) at Sanjūsangendō is a National Treasure​ from the Kamakura period, standing 161 cm tall. As Vaiśravaṇa, the Heavenly King of the North​ among the Four Heavenly Kings, he is revered as a god of victory and fortune. The statue's defining attribute is the jeweled pagoda held in its left hand, symbolizing triumph and blessings. Typically depicted in armor as a majestic warrior-guardian, it exemplifies the robust style and masterful craftsmanship of Kamakura-period Buddhist guardian deity sculptures.

京都三十三間堂二十八部眾-No.11毘沙門天

Located in the northern wall of the chancel of Strade Dominican Priory (MA070-067001-), Co. Mayo. This 15th-century wall monument is one of the finest surviving examples of its type in Ireland. At the base of the arch on the western side is a carving of a lion with tail between its legs,  rising above the body of the animal where it ends in a bushy tail.  In medieval Christianity, the lion was a complex, dual-natured symbol, primarily representing Christ’s power, resurrection, and royal authority but also, paradoxically, the danger of the devil or fierce, untamed power. Bestiaries popularized myths about lions resurrecting cubs, mirroring Christ's resurrection.  Lions were thought to sleep with eyes open, symbolizing Christ’s ever-watchful nature and divinity during his human death on the cross. Lions were frequently carved on church portals to represent protectors, guarding sacred spaces or representing Christ’s triumph over evil. Strade Friary Wall Tomb Lion (MA070-067003-)

One of five floriated tapered graveslabs set upright against the internal face of the south wall of the chancel of Strade Dominican Friary (MA070-067001-), Co. Mayo. Broken tapered cross-slab grave-cover which served as the lid of a stone coffin/sarcophagus.  Only the lower half of a cross-fleury carved in low relief with raised border running along edge of the stone.  The base of the cross has a fleur-de-lis or lily flower terminal consisting of acentral teardrop shaped projection flanked on either side by curling leaves. Vertical line in central teardrop may represent the stamen of the flower head.  Vertical groove running along centre of cross-shaft.  Floriated cross possibly symbolising the flowering lily known in French as the Fleur-de-Lys/Flower of the Lily.  The lily, is a  symbol of the Virgin Mary often appearing in art representing the Annunciation.  Associated with Resurrection & Easter & the triumph of Christ over death. Strade Abbey Graveslab MA070-067008-

The statue “Víťazstvo” (“Victory”) stands in front of the building of the National Council of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava and depicts an allegorical female figure made of bronze. The figure, draped in a long, flowing robe, stands upright with outstretched arms, holding a rose in each hand. Her calm, dignified expression and balanced posture lend the sculpture a solemn yet peaceful effect.

In contrast to heroic or military depictions of victory, this figure does not embody a combative triumph, but rather a symbolic victory of peace and reconciliation. The roses represent memory, hope, and a victory achieved not through violence but through the overcoming of conflict. From its elevated position above the steps, the statue appears as a silent guardian of parliament, underscoring the connection between state authority and the ideal of a peaceful, democratic community.

Strade Dominican Friary, National Monument No. 172.  The abbey at Strade dates to the mid-13th century, when it first started as a Franciscan Friary, established by the Lord of Athlethan (Ballylahan), Jordan de Exeter. The Dominican friars moved into Strade in 1253. The priory was dedicated to the Holy Cross.  A papal indulgence granted in 1434  may have resulted in a rebuilding phase of the church. The carving of a bird possibly an eagle/peacock with a serpent in its beak on the south wall of the crossing tower of the friary church dates from the 15th-century.  In medieval Christianity, the bird & the serpent symbolize the battle between Christ (or virtue) & the Devil (or sin). The bird represents divine power, resurrection, and Heaven, often fighting or carrying off the serpent, which embodies evil, malice, & the fall of man. This carving may represent 'Christ in Triumph'.
