The most famous of the Govan stones, the sarcophagus represents a rare monument type in early medieval Scotland prior to the 12th century AD. It was rediscovered in the churchyard by a gravedigger in 1856 and was moved into the church in 1908. It is decorated with a hunting scene, different arrangements of interlaced beasts, and six panels of interlace, some of which appear to be interlaced snakes. It is not known what the lid might have looked like, but two complete drainage holes in the base of the monument (and the worn surfaces surrounding them) suggest that the sarcophagus originally acted as a coffin for the remains of a royal saint, but later functioned as a reliquary.

Hiya welcome to my diorama scene!

It was made as the "Diorama End Assignment" at howest DAE

Scene depicts the home of a aligator wrestler who bring the beasts he catches to the lake infront of his house.
It was partly inspired by the show Gator Boys and Bayou houses.

Some textures might be missing but I will update the scene till its complete so don't worry :)
Any feedback for future projects is very appreciated.

Temple Lion Censer, one of a pair, 17th C CE

In this project, I wanted to see what I could do with a somewhat larger polycount, and texture resolution. This creature is based off the animal called a tapir. I wanted it to be gilded  in different types of ritual objects to make it look more sacred and regal, in contrast with the beasts abominable form.

The first of two jungle or road beasts themed tracks. A bit smaller than the next one. I ripped these myself with Ninjaripper 2, I tried but there are a few missing tris and matertials not working properly, this method isn’t perfect but it’s the best that can be done without a direct file conversion.

Deep in the woods there is said to be a cabin, inhabited by an unknown man. There are people who claim to have seen this person, and they could only describe him as a towering wild beast. Little do they know, this man only sought out peace and quiet to study the wildlife. Nevertheless, there are some actual wild beasts lurking in the thick underbrush of the forest. So anyone who dares to come over for a visit, should come well prepared.

DAE Diorama - Forest Loner

Dunblane Cathedral’s cross-slab is a fully ornamented stone carved on both faces, now displayed at the west end of the North Aisle after being found beneath a staircase in the Lady Chapel/Chapter House. It stands just over 6 feet high and is usually dated to the 10th century.

Although often described as a late Pictish sculpture, its date places it in a period of major cultural change. By around AD 900, older Pictish identity was giving way to the new Gaelic-speaking kingdom of Alba, so the stone may be better understood in that context rather than as purely “Pictish”.

The carvings were described in detail by John Romilly Allen in 1881 and later reproduced in The Early Christian Monuments of Scotland (with Joseph Anderson). The rear face includes a dense decorative panel featuring paired beasts, spirals, key-patterns, raised bosses, a small cross, a horseman with spear and hound, a circular disc with cruciform design, and a standing man with staff.

They wield what appears to be a gigantic tree trunk as a club and are often summoned by Beast Lords, after which can they hoist themselves onto its shoulders, controlling it in battle, and allowing them to do more dangerous attacks.

After weakening it, Kratos can kill a Cyclops Berserker by stabbing it in the knee, and then climbing the creature and stabbing his way up, until he is able to take out its eye, which will then be added to his total collection of Cyclops Eyes. These beasts are only encountered at the Ruins of the Forgotten, and near the entrance of the Palace of the Fates.
