Mount Carmel is a coastal mountain range in northern Israel stretching from the Mediterranean Sea towards the southeast. A number of towns are situated there, most notably the city of Haifa, Israel's third largest city, located on the northern and western slopes. The range is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. 

Due to the lush vegetation on the sloped hillside, and many caves on the steeper side, Carmel became the haunt of criminals. In ancient Canaanite culture, high places were frequently considered to be sacred, and Mount Carmel appears to have been no exception.  

In mainstream Jewish, Christian, and Islamic thought, Elijah is associated with the mountain, and he is regarded as having sometimes resided on the mountain.  The Bible's book of 1 Kings 18, records a showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. In that account, the God of Elijah sends fire from heaven to consume a sacrifice of testing, proving which diety is the true and living one.  The event takes place on this mountain.   -Nate Loper

The Dome of the Rock (Arabic: قبة الصخرة, romanized: Qubbat aṣ-Ṣakhra) is an Islamic shrine at the center of the Al-Aqsa mosque compound on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. It is the world's oldest surviving work of Islamic architecture, the earliest archaeologically attested religious structure to be built by a Muslim ruler and its inscriptions contain the earliest epigraphic proclamations of Islam and of the Islamic prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Masjid Al-Aqsa || Dome of the Rock 3D Model

The Mosque of the Blessed Tree, a newly constructed 250-square-meter heritage mosque, stands as a testament to the reviving of our cultural architectural legacy. Incorporating Islamic architectural principles and traditional building techniques, this mosque serves as a example of heritage preservation. Located approximately 140 kilometers northeast of Amman, in the Safawi area of Mafraq, Jordan, this sacred site is meticulously maintained by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, alongside the Royal Committee for the Restoration of the Shrines of Prophets and Companions. Their efforts ensure the preservation of the site's cultural heritage for future generations.

Mesh Optimization: Non-manifold edges have been reduced by over 50x, resulting in a significantly cleaner and more predictable structure.

I have a love for 80's music and I found that this synth was used for a lot songs back in the 80's. So this is a sort of tribute to my love of 80's music. 

The synth was modelled in Autodesk Maya and the texturing was done in Substance 3D Painter.
