Stone lion is a common object to ward off evil spirits in Chinese traditional culture. It is a sculpture with artistic value and ornamental value that stone is used as raw material to carve the image of lion. The earliest stone lion is in front of the tomb of Gaoyi in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is a kind of decoration often used in traditional Chinese architecture. It can be seen on Chinese palaces, temples, pagodas, bridges, mansions, gardens, mausoleums and buttons. But more often, stone lions are a pair of lions placed on the left and right sides of the gate.

Tia Dalma, played by Naomie Harris, is a fictional character from the films Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. It is revealed in At World's End that she is the sea goddess Calypso.

The Ecto-1 (also known as the Ectomobile) was the vehicle that the Ghostbusters used to travel throughout New York City busting ghosts and other entities. It was relocated to Summerville, Oklahoma for over a decade, but was later returned to New York City in summer 2021.

This marble sculpture presents Hecate in one of her most distinctive ancient forms: not as a single standing goddess, but as three joined female figures arranged around a central axis. The image is calm, symmetrical, and highly controlled, yet its subject belongs to a world of thresholds, night, spirits, and divine protection. Rather than showing three separate women with different identities, the sculpture repeats the same goddess three times, creating a form that allows her to face outward in multiple directions at once. That idea is central to the meaning of the work. Hecate was a goddess of crossings, boundaries, gates, and liminal places, and the triple arrangement made her especially suited to guarding spaces where one realm met another.

Though fearsome, he wasn’t a villain—he embodied the natural cycle of death, a force to be respected rather than avoided. Today, his presence lingers in the festival’s imagery, reminding celebrants that death is not an ending but a companion woven into life’s story.

Yuki - Wandering Ancient Ghost. Unlike her dangerous kin, she is friendly, harmless, and endearingly clumsy, driven by pure curiosity. Her deformed body and fingers are not flaws but a deliberate reflection of ancient mutation—time's passage reshaping form, not spirit. While other ghosts fade into darkness, Yuki's inner white light remains undimmed, glowing softly through her ethereal, translucent form. She drifts through the world with gentle wonder, a serene anomaly among spirits. Visuals: glowing white aura, subtle spectral transparency, tattered ancient garments merging with mist, expressive curious eyes, delicate clumsy posture. Her deformities tell a story of endurance, not decay.

Its roots lie in Indigenous rituals that honored ancestors with offerings, flowers, and food, later merging with Catholic traditions brought during colonization. Today, families build ofrendas, light candles, and decorate graves with marigolds to welcome the spirits home. At the center of its modern imagery stands La Catrina, inspired by José Guadalupe Posada’s early 20th‑century engraving of an elegant female skeleton. Originally a satire of upper‑class Mexicans who imitated European fashion, she evolved into a national symbol of identity and mortality.
