Modeled from images of a real specimen. The Passenger Pigeon (Ectopistes migratorius) was, at one time, the most numerous bird on Earth with population estimates of 3-5 billion birds. They were heavily hunted in the 1800’s, were highly social, and were affected by habitat loss. The last individual, Martha, passed away at the Cincinnati Zoo on September 1st, 1914. Base model created with AI tools, then sculpted/ edited in Blender for scientific accuracy.
