The ring band is characterised by a significantly wide and flat shape, which is accentuated by a ribbon-shaped profile cross-section. The handshake motif, which is presented in a sculptural design, manifests itself in a double representation as a ring knob. In addition, the ring band is slightly widened towards the ring shoulder, where it is separated from the ring head by a profiled cross strip. An inscription reading ‘MLHETVNI’ runs along the edge. The letters E and N are reversed.
This object was digitized through the ‘Kulturerbe digital’ program of the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Public Service and Sport.
