Èze has been described as an “eagle's nest” because of its location overlooking a high cliff 427 metres (1,401 ft) above sea level on the French Mediterranean. It is so high that the light ochre church within (Notre Dame de l’Assomption built in 1764) can be seen from afar. Friedrich Nietzsche stayed in one of the oldest houses of Eze and found inspiration for his third part of "Thus spake Zarathoustra" while climbing to the village by the path. 3D scan of Franz Viehböck's Sokol space suit that he wore on his flight to the space station MIR. Franz Viehböck studied electronics engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, and became the first and as of today only Austrian Astronaut. On the 2nd of October, 1991, the Sojus-TM-13-rocket started in Baikonur (KAZ). The commander of the Austromir mission was the Russian Alexander Volkov and the third man was the Kazakh Toktar Aubakirov. 

The space suit is no longer exhibited at the Natural History Museum Vienna, but was on display from 2015–2021. It will be put on display at the Technical Museum Vienna. We want to thank Franz Viehböck for the opportunity to scan and present this piece of Austrian history!

I'm gratefull for what I've learned during this super fun project, especially about optimisation and generic texture.

Modeled in Blender 2.8 (Old version from January 24th 2020), later in Blender 3.6 (version from February 4th 2025), textured in Substance 3D Painter and Inkscape.

I decided to upload both versions - the Old and the New one, to show the progress I have made over these 5 years.

Pirene or Peirene is the name of a fountain or spring in Greek mythology, physically located in Corinth. It was said to be a favored watering-hole of Pegasus, sacred to the Muses. Poets would travel there to drink and receive inspiration.

The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco skyscraper in the Turtle Bay neighborhood on the East Side of Manhattan, New York City, at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue near Midtown Manhattan. At 1,046 feet (319 m), it is the tallest brick building in the world with a steel framework, and was the world's tallest building for 11 months after its completion in 1930. As of 2019, the Chrysler is the 11th-tallest building in the city, tied with The New York Times Building.

Chrysler Building

The Temple at Évora is a unique example of roman religious architecture, and was wrongly described as being built to honor the goddess Diana. It rather was constructed to honor the figure of the emperor. This structure dates from the late 1st century to the early 2nd century A.D., and it was part of a larger complex that included a forum, a public square with a basilica on the opposite side, and it was surrounded by a colonnade. The temple as seen today dates back to the second half of the 19th century, when, under the direction of the cenographer Cinnati, all non-roman elements were removed. The example at Évora has been recognized as having similarities to the Maison Carrée in Nimes (France), given its scale and overall architecture.

So yeah, it's finally done! Simple background behind this project, this was actually started back in September 2022. The plan was to release this the same day as my birthday. But that semester in my university was pretty busy so I actually didn't touch Blender for the whole semester. And that's also why I haven't posted stuff after the Prelude.

Porsche 924 Carrera GTR

It took 4 days to make 2nd version of TCF 1994-2010 logo remake recreated and aesthetic. I use a Hollywood mountains and city to matched the original animation, i use the camera, plane for the sky and plain axes for the empty to matched the original fox 1994 camera animation. I use spheres for the stars on the sky. I rotated the camera animation at the beginning and middle scenes of the fox 1994 remake. The 2nd version remake is matched to the real logo.

Designed by Gensler, Shanghai Tower is currently the 3rd tallest building in the world located in Shanghai, China. Standing at 2,073 feet tall (632 meters) and consists of 128 floors, a few meters below Burj Khalifa's highest occupied floor. Completed on February 2, 2015 and opened as the 2nd tallest skyscraper in the world, pushing Willis Tower off the Top 10 list. Then in 2023, Shanghai Tower had been pushed to 3rd place due to the completion of Merdeka PNB 118, another megatall skyscraper in Malaysia with the height of 2,227 feet (678.9 meters).

MetLife Building, also known as 200 Park Avenue, is a 808-foot tall skyscraper located right behind Grand Central Terminal in between 42nd Street and 43rd Street, close to One Vanderbilt and Chrysler Building. It was built in 1963 and originally called "Panam" building, it was the largest office tower in the world at the time. It unique design defined Manhattan and its skyline as well, it became a landmark after some time it was completed and still very famous and historic to this day. But, did you know that MetLife Building showed up as the Stark Avengers Tower? That's why we think it's not there but actually served as a partially demolished building as a base for the tower itself.

Hi, there! The 2nd character from scratch that I was working on in my spare time and it took months to finish. I wanted to make a cool character inspired by films dating back to the 70's. Thanks to all viewers and Sketchfab creating a great place for showcasing 3d models. Comments and critics are welcome and really encourage me to start working on the next one.

Assassin

At 4.24 m tall, this towering ancient Roman statue of the emperor [Marcus Aurelius](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_Aurelius) dominates the gallery in the Capitoline Museum in which it stands. This bronze statue was likely commisioned and erected in the 2nd century AD either to commemorate Marcus Aurelius' victory over the Germanic tribes or his death.

Trying out 3d-scanning my minecraft build for the 2nd time since you can't really convert modded blocks accurately to 3d models, scan result still kinda wonky tho. Took 120 ingame 4k screenshots, and converted to model using Agisoft Metashape standard version. Added some basic cables and spikes and ground plane in 3ds max because they weren't scanned well.

3D scan of a taxidermized specimen of a Cuban Macaw, or Tricolored Macaw (*Ara tricolor*). This parrot species was native to Cuba and the neighboring island of Pines, before they were driven to extinction in the 2nd half of the 19th century. The use of *Ara tricolor* as food and pets and the deforestation of their habitat may have contributed to their extinction. 

This bird mount is not visible in the exhibition of the museum – it is part of the scientific bird collection of the NHM Vienna that holds more than 130,000 objects. 

Halls 29 to 32 of the NHM Vienna display many other bird specimens and species.
