El Palacio de Bellas Artes es un recinto cultural ubicado en el Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México, considerado el más importante en la manifestación de las artes en México y una de las casas de ópera más renombradas del mundo. Éste mismo ha sido escenario y testigo de impactantes acontecimientos tanto artísticos, sociales y políticos del país; su construcción data del final de mandato de Porfirio Díaz, por encargo del presidente mexicano con motivo de la celebración del centenario del inicio de la Independencia de México, más fue inaugurado hasta el 29 de septiembre de 1934 tras el estallido de la Revolución mexicana. Como institución, depende del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA), parte de la Secretaría de Cultura del gobierno federal. En 1987 fue declarado por la Unesco un monumento patrimonio de la humanidad.

Day #5 of my Everyday a Scan series!


This week, I’ll be concentrating on the many different districts of San Fransisco, CA.


This incredible house was captured in the Mission district of San Francisco, at the intersection of York St. and 25th. This entire neighborhood is filled with Murals left and right. Some on people's garage doors, some on the entire side of the building, and in this case, the entire house. 

This mural was done by a group called Precita Eyes Muralists, directed by Max Marttila and Fred Alvarado in collaboration with the Urban Youth Arts Program. 


Make sure you sound is turned out, the audio of the space really puts things into context.

#5 - "Take it From the Top: Latin Rock" House

My final entry for the statues texturing challenge organized by Sketchfab and SMK on the theme of gender representation in classical sculpture.

**My interpretation**

I tried to infuse this model with the theme of the sea, thinking of this statue as an old ship figurehead.

Burnt and torn apart during fierce marine battles, it was then meticulously repaired by the ship's captain, who replaced the damaged parts with inclusions of aquamarine, and finalized his craft with seals of gold. 

I love to imagine the captain as a very masculine yet paradoxical man, a bearded giant letting his deepest emotions, hidden to its pairs, appear through his delicate work.

Textured in blender by cautiously mixing PBR textures, then baked to the unmodified challenge's model. Post-processing and lighting were kept simple to emphasize the texturing work.

A captain's pride

The Apollo Intensa Emozione: Void-Eater Edition is a structural paradox. It represents a "System Malfunction" in traditional automotive design, replacing clean lines with aggressive, insect-inspired organic geometry. This 780HP V12 monster is reimagined through a Black Institutional lens, transforming it from a hypercar into a predatory "Void-Tech" artifact.

The primary hull is draped in Obsidian Purple Carbon (#12001A), a finish that maintains a high-gloss 0.03 Roughness. This deep, crystalline purple acts as a "Dark-Matter" shell, absorbing light in the shadows while flashing a bruised, metallic violet under high-intensity LEDs. This is contrasted by the dry, 0.15 Roughness Satin Black used for the complex aerodynamic fins and the massive "Whale-Tail" rear wing, creating a tactile "Glitch" between different carbon weaves.

Apollo IE - Purple Dragon

The Aston Martin Vulcan: Soft Lavender Edition is a high-performance paradox—a brutal, track-bred monster reimagined through the lens of High-Tech Minimalism. While the 7.0L naturally aspirated V12 engine remains a raw, analog force of nature, the visual identity has been completely "system-flashed" into a clean, light-mode aesthetic.

The sculpted body of this custom Aston Martin Vulcan is finished in a Satin Caspian White, creating a seamless, architectural silhouette that hides its aggressive aero-lines in soft shadows. This "blank canvas" is disrupted only by precision-engineered accents in Soft Lavender (#E6E6FA), applied to the massive brake calipers, interior stitching, and the razor-thin edges of the carbon-fiber diffuser.

This isn't just a race car; it’s a mobile workstation of speed. The Soft Lavender Edition represents the ultimate intersection of "Institutional" power and "Void-Tech" elegance—turning one of the world's rarest track weapons into a masterpiece of sophisticated, futuristic design.

Allosaurus is one of the first dinosaurs to be hunted in many tours in the Central Sector. It was featured in Carnivores, Carnivores 2, and Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter.

"strange lizard") is an extinct genus with three possibly four valid species of allosaurid theropod dinosaur, which lived at the end of the Late Jurassic period, between 155 and 145 million years ago, between the Oxfordian and Tithonian ages, in what is now North America and Europe.

"Despite its size, a paradox has been found in its constitution: a strong skull with a weak bite. That is why scientists believe that the Allosaurus's method of attack was to stalk its prey and then deliver a powerful blow with its jaws, moving its head up and down like an axe."

Located in the northern wall of the chancel of Strade Dominican Priory (MA070-067001-), Co. Mayo. This 15th-century wall monument is one of the finest surviving examples of its type in Ireland. At the base of the arch on the western side is a carving of a lion with tail between its legs,  rising above the body of the animal where it ends in a bushy tail.  In medieval Christianity, the lion was a complex, dual-natured symbol, primarily representing Christ’s power, resurrection, and royal authority but also, paradoxically, the danger of the devil or fierce, untamed power. Bestiaries popularized myths about lions resurrecting cubs, mirroring Christ's resurrection.  Lions were thought to sleep with eyes open, symbolizing Christ’s ever-watchful nature and divinity during his human death on the cross.
