This magnificent armour made [King Erik XIV](https://bit.ly/2XHLbZ0) of Sweden look imposingly triumphant. In true renaissance spirit, the motifs on the armour were borrowed from ancient myths, the characteristics of which lent themselves perfectly to the Swedish history and national symbols of that time.

The armour was probably made in [Arboga](https://bit.ly/2FQKrGy), Sweden, around 1562, from where it was sent to Antwerp in Belgium to be decorated by the goldsmith Elisaeus Libaerts. The opaque gilt ornamentation has been [repousséd](https://bit.ly/2xuxmy0) from the back and chased from the front. 

Perhaps the armour was worn by King Erik XIV on 2 October 1564 when, following a military campaign in [Blekinge](https://bit.ly/2KUVNNQ) in the South of Swedan, he returned to Stockholm with his military entourage. Whilst winding its way through the streets of Stockholm, the procession was showcasing chained prisoners of war from Denmark, a motif that can also be found on the armour.

The Doom Slayer is the protagonist and playable character of Doom, Doom II: Hell on Earth, Final Doom, Doom 64, Doom (2016), Quake Champions, Quake III Arena and Doom Eternal (and possibly Doom 3 ). He is also known by the UAC as DM1-5, DOOM Marine or The Slayer, and by the Demons of Hell as the Doom Slayer, the Unchained Predator, the Beast or the Hell Walker. Depending on the version of the character, his real name or aliases include William Joseph "B.J" Blazkowicz and Flynn Taggart. He is known in the flashback subtitles as Doomguy.

Greek Slave became the most famous sculpture of the nineteenth century and propelled the artist, Hiram Powers (1805-73), to international stardom. The work was so provocatively lifelike that certain exhibition venues in the United States required that men and women view the sculpture separately. Powers justified the sculpture's full nudity by claiming his work depicted historic events: a Greek woman, captured by Ottoman forces during the War of Independence, had been stripped and chained for sale at a slave market in Constantinople. American viewers in the 1840s and '50s, many of whom had never before seen a sculpture of a nude woman, felt licensed to admire the Greek Slave because she was "clothed all over with sentiment."

This is a model of a medieval book as it would have looked on the shelf of a 'chained library'.  The aim was for the books to be used only for reference and not removed. Rotmaw the Chained looks less like a living creature and more like a curse given muscle and hunger. Bloated, scarred, and covered in infected growths, the beast lurches forward on massive clawed limbs while chains drag from its wrists like broken restraints it no longer remembers wearing. Acid-green slime pours from its jaws in thick strands, pooling beneath rows of jagged teeth built for tearing armor and bone alike. One eye bulges grotesquely from ruined flesh while crude horns twist from its skull, giving the whole creature the silhouette of something dragged out of a pit where nothing clean survives. As an enemy to Kaela Bloodstorm, Rotmaw feels mythic in the ugliest possible way—a dungeon horror, plague titan, or corrupted war-beast that exists only to consume and spread ruin.

Here's my second entry of many entries of my Insect Gladiators series where I've built out a whole greek/roman themed world based around gladiator fighting. These models are basic gladiator prisoners doomed to fight in the pits. These models are chained, symbolyzing waiting to be released onto the arena.  I've been working on a lot of these Greek and Roman Gladiator themed insects that I'll be posting soon so comment, like, and follow if you want to see more 32mm Scale - Let me know what you think!

The Armies of Germany has no shortage of unique units. One of these is the Feldgendarmerie Squad, the Field Police. Less charitably, they were commonly known among the ranks as Kettenhunde (English: “chained dogs”), due to the large gorget they wore around their neck as an identifier. Having a Feldgendarmerie Squad within 6” of a Shirker squad causes that squad to lose the Shirker rule.  The Feldgendarmerie gorget was a silver-coloured plate with the requisite German eagle and scroll beneath it.  The recently released Zero Two Hundred game has well modeled Field Police, and Wargames Atlantic is releasing the same figures. However, this .stl provides another option; you can print the Field Police Gorget model off separately (I recommend doing them in a “sheet” as in the photo, due to the print’s small size) or merging onto a figure in 3DBuild or similar CAD program.  The model in the photo is a Trenchworx German figure on which I merged the Gorget. Please spare me any comments as to my choice of colours/painting, as I don’t field Germans on the table and only purchased and printed the model as a test and demo piece.  This .stl is only suitable for resin printing, and even at that needs to be treated carefully, due to the minute size of the actual print (approx. 4mm x 2 mm x 1  mm). The files have separate .stls, a thicker one to allow merging with the surface of a figure in CAD, and one with a concave back to allow it to be secure to an existing physical model.
