This work of mine is a digital study I made on Farnese Hercules sculpture. Ancient Roman sculptures carry lot of stories and mysteries with them.This is called Farnese Hercules as it was excavated by the Farnese family. Wildly powerful figure with incredible musculature ,but also the figure is exhausted with tiredness on his face. The statue is Hellenistic with taller proportions and a smaller head. The original sculpture was made by Lysippos and later reproduced by Glykon.

Hercules Beetle

Bronze gladiator's helmet. It has a grille of linked circles to protect the face, and a broad brim to protect the back and sides of the head. At the front of the helmet is a medallion of Hercules. Said to have been found in the gladiators' barracks at Pompeii. 

48.26 centimetres high.

Produced from 140 photographs taken by Professor Eric Poehler, UMass Amherst. The helmet was photographed on a workbench, without lights and no access to the interior.  It is therefore not top quality, but is useful for visualisation.

Gladiator helmet

Here is a 3D photogrammetric reconstruction of a young whale that came to rest at the bottom of the ocean near Davidson Sea Mount off of Monterey Bay, CA.  The species of this whale is still being determined, but it is speculated to be a young Grey or Humpback Whale, which are often predated upon by Killer Whales in the area.  The whale is approximately 4 to 5 meters in length and was found at a depth of over 3000m.
Researchers at the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and the [E/V Nautilus](http://nautiluslive.org/video/2019/10/17/baleen-whale-fall-becomes-deep-sea-banquet-davidson-seamount) happened upon this whale in 2019, while surveying the nearby octopus brooding grounds.  Several octopus and species of bone-eating worms, called Osedax, which appear as red fur on the tail section, can be seen scavenging the whale. 

This model was reconstructed by a team at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute using approximately 600 still frames from video taken by ROV Hercules and the E/V Nautilus crew.

In classical Greek mythology, Hercules is assigned twelve superhuman labors to complete. The eighth of these is to capture the man-eating horses of Diomedes, king of Thrace. In most accounts, Hercules subdues and steals the mares, killing Diomedes and feeding him to his own horses.

The Mercedes-Benz Zetros is an off-road truck for extreme operations. It was first presented at the 2008 Eurosatory defence industry trade show in Paris. The Zetros is manufactured at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth, Germany. The truck is designed to be compatible with the C-130 Hercules transport and also fits into a standard German railway carriage. In 2019, Mercedes-Benz presented a facelift of the Zetros; it features a more powerful engine and a bigger number of variants.

2009 Mercedes-Benz Zetros 1833 4x4

The horn of Salt Diggers Brotherhood of Wieliczka is a unique Renaissance work of art commemorating the past wealth of Kraków salt mines. It is the only historical object of its kind preserved in Poland – a genuine horn of the aurochs, an ancestor of present-day cattle (the species became extinct in Poland in the 17th century). Framed in silver, it features a number of precisely executed metalwork techniques. Weighing almost 3 kilos, it was created in Kraków in 1534. The figure shown in the horn’s base is a salt miner, depicted as Hercules wearing antique armour. This representation symbolically emphasises the hard work of the Wieliczka salt diggers, excavating the precious mineral for hundreds of years.

He was the greatest of the Greek heroes, a paragon of masculinity, the ancestor of royal clans who claimed to be Heracleidae. In Rome and the modern West, he is known as Hercules. Many popular stories were told of his life, the most famous being The Twelve Labours of Heracles.

In Greek and Roman mythology, Hercules is a hero who received divine honors and was accepted into Olympus. His attributes are the fur of the Nemean lion and the club. He was the son of Zeus and the Alkmene. 

Calliope is one of the nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne. She is the muse of poetry, science and philosophy. She is the oldest and wisest of the nine classical muses and was therefore the judge in the dispute between Aphrodite and Persephone over Adonis.

O Theatro Municipal , localizado na Praça Ramos de Azevedo teve suas obras iniciadas em junho de 1903. A construção levou oito anos para ser finalizada e foi projetada pelo arquiteto que nomeia a praça, Ramos de Azevedo. No ano de 1981 o edifício foi tombado pelo Conselho de Defesa do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico (Condephaat). O Arenito Itararé é a principal rocha de construção da fachada do Theatro Municipal, presente em toda a parte inferior, inclusive nos pilares esculpidos no formato de Hércules e Atlas. Por conta disso o Theatro passa por diversos projetos de reforma, visando a conservação do estado atual da construção.
