**Modeling**:

* The scan was remeshed with [mmgs](http://mmgtools.org) from 500k verts to 7k, keeping the face and hands at a higher resolution.
* The ocean surface and ground were created with blender's ocean modifier.
* Light shafts are simply a randomized array of elongated planes.
* The fish is a lowpoly model ( a 30s model ).
* A particle system was created for fish instances, with force fields applied (boids physics, vortex, attraction force and collision on the statue)

**Texturing/lighting**:

* Mix of concrete and coral on the statue
* Sand on the ground
* Nothing on the sea surface
* Radial opacity for ground and surface
* Voronoi textures baked as emission on the statue and the ground, to simulate the light deformation through water
* Lots of color processing

The rose window illuminates one of the transepts of the church and still keeps remains of the old stained glass. It was called “the salomo” because of its elaborate structure and for holding the “Star of King David”. Thus, Jesus was acclaimed as the Messiah and “David's Son”, born in the “Mystic rose” Mary. We know nothing about the master builder of this entrance, former door of the mosque, since the artists worked only for God's glory. In 1354, it was completely finished, a fact that is derived from the coat of arms adorning the entrance (13th and 14th century)

The abbey at Strade dates to the mid-13th century, when it first started as a Franciscan Friary, established by the Lord of Athlethan (Ballylahan), Jordan de Exeter. The Dominican friars moved into Strade in 1253. The priory was dedicated to the Holy Cross & was a daughter house of Sligo Dominican priory (SL014-068008-).  A papal indulgence granted in 1434  may have resulted in a rebuilding phase of the church.  The carving of the vulning pelican (from the Latin vulnerō, “to wound”) on the north wall of the crossing tower of the friary church dates from the 15th-century. The statue of Saint Peter stands at the entrance to the Calvary Church in Kőszeg and dates from the 18th century. It is part of the Baroque tradition of the Stations of the Cross.

The saint is depicted in a humble, kneeling posture. His hands are folded in front of his chest, suggesting prayer or repentance. His gaze is directed slightly upward, as if he were turning to God. The surface of the slab is worn, but the outline of a long cross fleury carved in low relief extending almost the full length of the slab is visible.   Greek crosses rise from the terminals of the diagonal arms which represent the Crucifix and may represent a version of the Lily Crucifix. In Christian theology, the crucifixion of Jesus transforms the cross from a "tree of death" into a new "Tree of Life," reversing the fall of humanity in Eden. The statue of Saint Veronica stands at the entrance to the Calvary Church in Kőszeg and dates back to the 18th century. It is part of the Baroque tradition of the Way of the Cross.

The saint is depicted as a standing figure with a slightly turned posture. She wears a long, softly flowing robe and a veil over her head. With both hands, she holds an outstretched sweat cloth in front of her body. The face of Christ with a crown of thorns is clearly visible on this cloth – depicted frontally, with long hair and a serious expression. The cloth is carefully modeled and forms the center of the composition.

According to tradition, Veronica handed Jesus a cloth on his way to Golgotha to wipe the sweat and blood from his face. In doing so, his face was miraculously imprinted on the fabric. This so-called Veronica's veil became an important motif in Christian art and is closely associated with depictions of the Way of the Cross.
