Dry Branches Medium 01

Recumbent 15th-century chamfered cross-slab grave-cover measuring 1.9m long by 0.09m thick, the base of the slab measures 0.64m wide which narrows to 0.54m, in the south-east corner of the chancel of Portumna Dominican Friary church (GA127-019----), Co. Galway. Chamfered slab the top of which has a sunburst-motif with human face representing Christ flanked by a serpent/monster with open jaws, dotted body and curving tail which runs across onto the the sunurst motif.  A triangular-shaped motif above the open jaws may represent the tongue of the serpent with fish beneath. Above this there is an eight pointed encircled rosette and an eight armed encircled cross between which there are two human heads above which there is a base for the shaft of the central cross.  Two four cornered knots either side of the shaft of the central cross which forms the centre of six rows of three encircled crosses with vine leaf terminals representing the blood of Christ. The tool is made of antler, and is possibly one of the tines of a red deer antler. It has been hollowed out at the thicker end, and features a central perforation, decorated with a diamond and dot pattern. 
In older literature, such objects of unknown function are identified as devices to loosening tight knots. On occasion, similarly decorated antler segments have been utilised as components of horse bridles. The antler segments were attached to the bridle bit by means of a central perforation.

English Version
The General Figure, the highest-ranking statue in the Qin Terracotta Army, dates to the Qin Dynasty (c. 3rd century BCE). Its defining attributes are the pheasant-feather crown​ and colored fish-scale armor​ with decorative knots. The figure commands authority with a stern expression and upright posture. Crafted using mold-and-sculpting techniques, it was originally fully painted. Accidentally discovered in 1974​ in Lintong, Shaanxi, during a well-digging, it was later excavated, providing invaluable evidence of Qin military and artistic achievements.

The piece of jewellery under consideration is a large gold ring in the shape of two intertwined snakes.
The ring was crafted in a distinctive meandering shape and featured snake heads at the ends as decorative embellishments. The presence of small knots is observable at the points where the meanders intersect. The scales of the plastic snake heads have been meticulously crafted to display a realism in their appearance. In the area where the ocular cavities should be located, it is presumed that gemstones or glass were inserted.

Realistic Tree Bark Candle Mold - 3D Printable Model

Whistle depicting a smiling male figure with a cheerful expression. In his right hand he holds a rattle (chinchín), suggesting that he may represent a musician. He wears long hair adorned with a cloth diadem, pendant ear ornaments (possibly feathers), and a necklace with a horizontal pectoral tied at the front. The skirt he wears features multiple horizontal folds with knots at the front. The piece appears to represent an act of self-sacrifice, as a knife or blade pierces the male member. Knots Demo

Fragment of an anthropomorphic figurine, consisting of the head and face of a figure wearing a diadem and a tall headdress composed of feathers, knots, and phytomorphic designs. It may represent the Maize God, suggested by the presence of foliage in the headdress. The figure has filed teeth and wears a square ear ornament on the right side (the left is missing due to breakage). Traces of red pigment are preserved. Although the Cultural Property Registry classifies it as a figurine head, its size also suggests that it may have functioned as the handle of a lid.

Cosmicflows-2 Wiener Filter reconstruction of the cosmic velocity web displayed in terms of its filaments (grey surfaces) and knots (red surfaces).
Galaxy positions from the V8k catalog of redshifts are marked by spheroids of different colors: 
1) red for a selection of clusters,
2) cyan, pink and khaki for the three components of the Centaurus-Puppis-Perseus-Pisces filament,
3) yellow for the Centaurus-Virgo-Perseus-Pisces filament,
4) blue for the Centaurus-Arch-Perseus-Pisces filament,
5) magenta for Perseus-Pisces galaxies,
6)  black otherwise.
The central signpost has 2000 km/s-long arrows pointing to the SGX (red), SGY (green), SGZ (blue) directions. The box is 64,000 km/s wide.
