*Wiwaxia* had a tiny body covered in overlapping defensive **sclerites**. The hidden, lower surface consisted of a muscular foot and mouthparts for scraping food, like algae, off the sea floor. Wiwixia would have crawled slowly over the sea floor in search of food, as many similar molluscs do today.

*Cotyledion* lived on the sea floor, using **tentacles** to feed on particles suspended in the water. Some individuals have been found attached to small fragment of trilobites. The overall body shape, presence of tentacles surrounding the mouth and U-shaped gut, are characters that unite *Cotyledion* with entoprocts – a modern group of animals that measure less than a centimetre across.

Kuromi

The Swedish History Museum holds a large collection of bones of various kinds, including human remains. We living humans are both appalled by and attracted to visible evidence of death. The scanned human remains presented on Sketchfab from our museum are important museum artefacts, chosen because they represent a specific historical event. They also represent one of humanity’s worst acts: violence towards other humans. It is therefore our wish that you, as a viewer, use the 3D-models with respect. 

The image shows a human cranium with injuries on its left and front side. A small, square hole above the left eye and on the left cheek bone was probably caused by a pole weapon or a battle axe. The gash across the mouth could have been caused by a sword or a thin bladed axe.The cranium is one of several thousand artifacts found in a mass grave outside Visby on the island Gotland. All remains and objects found on the site stem from a battle between Gotlandic peasants and Danish mercenaries on 27 July 1361.

This is a 3D animation of a Southern Right Whale (Eubalaena australis, Panel C, Fig. 1) which was reconstructed using the open source software Blender 3D (blender.org). Measurements taken from drone videos of right whales (see Christensen et al. 2019) were used to create an ellipsoid that served as a basis for the model. The measurements for height and width of the whale were taken at increments of 5% of the total body length. Reference photos were also used as a guide to create taxonomic features onto the ellipsoid using Blender 3D sculpting tools (primarily the dynamic topology function). These features included the fluke, pectoral fins, eye, and mouth arrangements.

Model 55A - Southern Right Whale

I stopped working on this over a year ago because I had no ideas for animation. Then I recently saw some cool stepped animations and wanted to give it a try. Sadly stepped curves don't really work with sketchfab but I got pretty close with some tweaking. The model also had a shape key for mouth animation but it had to be removed to get the outline to work here.

Cuphead

Kun and Chan are two rigged characters perfect for animation practice. They are Ball Joint Doll based, making them incredibly easy to animate in Blender. They come with face controls in the mouth, Inverse Kinematics, and all the other controls you need to bring your animations to life. Kun and Chan were made with Blender, and are the perfect characters for those looking to practice their animation skills.

Rigged Characters

DogDay is an anthropomorphic orange-furred dog with black eyes, floppy ears, a black nose, and a yellow outer mouth and belly. His paws and ears, along with the left side of his face, have a copper-red color. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, DogDay is depicted with a wide toothless grin (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and he possesses a black zipper line running down his center, with the zipper sporting a gold sun pendant with orange sun rays.

DogDay’s cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace.

Dog Day - Poppy Playtime Chapter 3

Full name: **Seventeenth-century Italian hydria apothecary vase**

A hydria-type apothecary maiolica vase created in Savona (Italy) in the late 17th century. Handles in the shape of (fantastic) animal heads on massive bent necks. At the front, towards the bottom of the vase, a gargoyle in relief. Plugged with regular cork, its mouth doubles as an opening for pouring out the contents of the vase. Smaller gargoyles, without any openings, located under the handles, alongside the vase.

Exhibit from the collection of apothecary ceramics donated to the Museum in 1976 by Mateusz Bronisław Grabowski, a Polish-British, London-based pharmacist.

Chichen Itza,  from Yucatec Maya: Chi'ch'èen Ìitsha'  ("at the mouth of the well of the Itza people") was a large pre-Columbian city built by the Maya people of the Terminal Classic period. The archaeological site is located in Tinúm Municipality, Yucatán State, Mexico.

Chichen Itza was a major focal point in the Northern Maya Lowlands from the Late Classic (c. AD 600–900) through the Terminal Classic (c. AD 800–900) and into the early portion of the Postclassic period (c. AD 900–1200). The site exhibits a multitude of architectural styles, reminiscent of styles seen in central Mexico and of the Puuc and Chenes styles of the Northern Maya lowlands. The presence of central Mexican styles was once thought to have been representative of direct migration or even conquest from central Mexico, but most contemporary interpretations view the presence of these non-Maya styles more as the result of cultural diffusion

This is an animation of an adult Largemouth Bass.

This 3D model is a composite of images from an adult Largemouth Bass (Micropterus salmoides) housed at the Maymont Nature Center (https://maymont.org/animals/nature-center/), and a scan from a preserved Largemouth Bass from the Natural History Collection at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (https://bcrc.bio.umass.edu/nhc/home).

CG artists Jer Bot, Johnson Martin and Robert Gutierrez used Blender to reconstruct the full fish from these scans and images, as well as animate the movements. The Glow Whale is a friendly Leviathan-class Organism that lives in the shallow waters of Sector Zero of 4546B. They are large blue whale-like creatures with very large side fins and a fluked tail. They have many barnacles growing on their skin, and they have 2 blue glowing horns. Their mouth is large and can expand itself to become larger snd swallow up its main source of food, groups of small fish. The glow whale also has bioluminescent spots on its body. They will periodically breach the water surface in a spectacular jump, landing back into the water. They also swim in pods, like earth whales.

The Shadow Leviathan is a 60+ meter long Leviathan Class organism that can be found exclusively in large caves of Sector Zero of 4546B. It has a large triangular head with 3 eyes on each side, and a mouth lies underneath the head, which is bioluminescent and blue. The mouth is long, and also has many long, blue teeth. The shadow leviathan is a very oppritunistic hunter, going for any large prey, presumably because of the lack of any of large animals in the Crystal Caves and Fabricator Caverns. The few animals even there are small fish and bacteria, which is hupothesized to also feed the shadow leviathan's massive appetite. It is capable of nearly destroying a seatruck or prawn suit before letting go of you with its large mantis-like arms. It has a long eel-like body to easily move around large crystal formations.
