My attempt to redesign gyroscopes from "Gothic" 1 and 2 games. These were used to enchant runes and all.
Made of brass, gold and bronze. Encrusted with magic ore.

Antatt spillebrikke av kleberstein med runeinnskrift, funnet i middelalderkontekst (ca 1100-tallet) under veien ved Erling Skakkes gate 9 i Trondheim.

Runolog Karen Langsholt Holmqvist har lest innskriften som **s i g g s i f r**, og tolker den som et navn, sannsynligvis navnet på den som eide brikka eller den som ristet runene. En alternativ tolkning kan være at navnet, som direkte oversatt kan bety "Stridsbror", var kallenavnet på selve spillebrikka.

A presumed gaming piece of soap stone with a runic inscription, found in medieval context (12th century) under the road in Trondheim, Norway. Runologist Karen Langsholt Holmqvist has interpreted the inscription as a hitherto unknown name, Sigsífr. A direct translation of the name could be "Warriorbrother", which could alternatively be seen as a name of the gaming piece itself.

My attempt to redesign "Gothic" 1 and 2 games magic runes. In the games they are essentially weapons that shoot various projectiles depending on school of magic and level or runes. The runes were enchanted from pure runes into lock'n'loaded in magical gyroscopes.

Here are big and small versions of both idle and activated (emission on/off) firebolt, ice wave and stormfist. Also a "pure" rune in the middle. 

(pro tip: when out of mana hit dem bisches heads with the big ones)

Azure Core Blade - Stylized Fantasy Greatsword

A terrifying dark fantasy knight forged from living shadow energy. Clad in massive abyssal armor with jagged spikes on the shoulders and arms, the faceless helmet reveals only a black void glowing with faint purple energy. Torn shadow cloth flows from the waist and shoulders like dark smoke. The cursed, broken armor is etched with glowing runes, and the knight wields a corrupted greatsword of black crystal and dark magic. Spiked shoes complete this imposing boss-ready figure, perfect for dark fantasy games or cinematic scenes.

Dark Abyss Knight Armor

The runic inscription Ög 197 is a Viking Age runestone that now stands in the churchyard by the old church ruin of Sörby in Mjölby parish and Mjölby Municipality, Östergötland. The stone previously lay embedded in the eastern churchyard wall before it was removed and raised at its current location.

The material is reddish granite, and it is carved with normal runes that run in a closed loop, meaning the inscription goes all the way around without a clear beginning or end. The runic text is read from right to left, and the runes themselves are mirrored compared to how they usually appear in Viking Age runic inscriptions. Diagonal crosses were used as separators between words. On the western side, the stone is supported with iron braces.

The runes can be translated as: Vigot raised these stones in memory of Torgot, his brother.

Runestone Ög 197, Mjölby, Sweden

Östergötland Runic Inscription 203 is a runestone located next to the cemetery at Veta Church near Mantorp in Mjölby Municipality. It previously stood in Gottlösa, a couple of kilometers further north in the same parish, but was moved from there in 2007, like Ög 202, which stands nearby. The material is red granite. The stone has significant damage on the left side and lower part of the carving.

The inscription is dated to the 11th century. It contains a dotted “i” rune. Inside the runic band, there is a cross.

Mythical Bloody Scroll

The runestone Ög 165 stands between Vårfrukyrkan and the main square in Skänninge. It is made of gray granite and is about 230 cm tall. 

The inscription, carved by Torkel, is partly written in verse using the Old Norse poetic meter fornyrðislag, and it is one of the few signed runestones in Östergötland. The text begins on the front of the stone, continues along the left side, and the carver’s signature appears on the right side. 

The stone was rediscovered during repairs to the church in 1874, when its back had been used as a threshold at the northern church door. According to the runologist Erik Brate, the stone resembles Ög 87 at Högby kyrka, suggesting it may originally have come from Högby and could be connected to a man named Toste and his possible widow, Torun.

The runic text can be read as: Torun and the brothers, Toste’s sons, raised this stone in memory of their father. I, Torkel, carved this stone in memory of Toste.

Runestone Ög 165, Skänninge, Sweden

Östergötland Runic Inscription 166 (Ög 166) is a runestone located outside Skänninge in Mjölby Municipality. The stone stands erected at the ruins of a hospital chapel just northeast of the town. About a meter away stands another runestone, Östergötland Runic Inscription N272. Ög 166 is made of granite. The stone was once broken, and a piece is missing. The remaining parts have been rejoined using cement.

Runestone Ög 202, Mantorp, Sweden

This is a 3D model with a fairly low poly count, representing a wood and metal medieval shield, of medium size, made with inspiration taken from norse aesthetics. It's decorated with 4 Elder Futhark runes and has leather straps on the back.

Norse Shield

Runic inscription Ög 62 is a rune stone that originally stood at Biskopsberga, about 1.5 km northeast of Skänninge. 

The stone is now split into two pieces, one of which has been lost, while the other half has been raised at the remains of Saint Ingrid’s Monastery inside Skänninge. The material consists of gray-red granite.

In addition to the runic band, a Christian cross was also carved on the stone. The inscription on the missing portion is known from older reproductions.

Runestone Ög 62, Skänninge, Sweden

Östergötland Runic Inscription Fv1970;310 is a Viking Age rune stone located in Kullerstad parish in Norrköping Municipality. The stone was discovered in 1969 in the churchyard wall at Kullerstad Church, after which it was removed and erected in the churchyard. The material is light red granite.

In addition to the runes and their framing lines, there is an equal-armed cross carved into the stone, which is in well-preserved condition. The inscription contains the same two names, Håkon and Gunnar, which also appear on the rune stone Östergötland Runic Inscription 162, located about 400 meters farther north at the so-called Gunnar’s Bridge.

It is believed that the stones are connected, and that this stone may also originally have stood there.

The inspiration is from my mother who visit a lot Mediteranea , and the jewel have this eye evil protection symbol and i use it like the runes i put on other sword.
