Hi everyone! this is my very first model on sketchfab!

I have used UDIM UV mapping for this one.

Modern  Sofa

This is the old Polygraph Printing machines manufacturing facility in Leipzig Leutzsch. Built in 1910, this facility was used to produce printing machines that got sold all over the world until the wall came down in 1989. After that it was closed and a fire destroyed part of the building. I scanned the building with a Mavic 2 Pro, used RealityCapture to compute a 30 Million and a 300K Poly Version and then moved the Detail from High to Low via Normal Maps. This building was tricky as the side with the text was behind trees. Shooting in Winter let me get rid of most of them but to use it in Production I would probably add trees again on that side. Roughness maps were created and edited via ShaderMap4.

Abandoned Building: Polygraphenwerk Leipzig

I'm a veteran Maya user. But for my next project I need to know Blender. So this is the first model I made in Blender. I don't know Blender as good as I know Maya of course. So if you ask me what is better, I would say Maya. UV unwrapping is a pain in Blender. Everything about normals is very hard to track. Pivots and snapping is just not as great as in Maya. Any day of the week I would prefer Maya over Blender. That said, I will do a lot more work in Blender for a while. Maybe I'll think different when I understand Blender better. Or maybe not. What I do think, is that Blender is a great tool to start your 3D in.

I made a high(er) polygon version and a super low poly version. I exported them both and did my bakes in Substance (I know I could also have done that in Blender). I textured everything (only 2 UDIMS), what was lots of fun as usual.

Be course Blender is free, and this little project was just for me to learn the software. Will this model also be free for you all! I hope you enjoy it.

BS-V1 Cyborg

This building was part of a harbor, that was never finished. Located in Leipzig, Germany at the end of Karl-Heine-Canal. I scanned the building with a Mavic 2 Pro, used RealityCapture to compute a 40 Million and a 250K Poly Version and then moved the Detail from High to Low via Normal Maps. Finally I computed roughness and metalness maps via ShaderMap4. 

The Model contains 1 250K Poly FBX and 6 4K UDIM's

btw, this is my first model and I'm learning... so let me know when you have any suggestions.

Agoranomeion - Ancient Greece Collection

Modeled and UV-mapped in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. The model consists of 39991 polygons and is my first real attempt at making a more coplex model than I usually do. The textures are devided into 3 different texture sets without udims. I also went the extra mile and actually started to learn more about how Substance Painter works and the cool features it has to offer. Overall happy with the final result.

Worn Out Old School Vespa

The Eudimorphodon model from Raw Thrills Jurassic Park Arcade game.

This is the unused Eudimorphodon that got cut from Raw Thrills Jurassic Park Arcade game, it got replaced with Pteranodons but its kill streak icon is still present. This model along with the newer ones I uploaded do not have rigs!

Baby boss

Every scene on this rock has its own interest.  This area of Rock 5 seems to specialise in Canid images.  Dogs can be recognised in Valcamonica rock art by their curled, upright tails & their extended bodies with short legs.  Wolves are depicted with a very similar canine appearance but have downward-pointing tails (see the Cemmo boulders, which have the two depictions close on the same panel).  Here on Rock 5, there are two separate packs of hounds.

My favourite figure on the rock is the very simply-drawn matchstick man warrior to the left of centre. His arms, legs and body are fundamentally just a star shape, but the addition of a basic head and a rudimentary sword & shield, plus the subtle shaping of his limbs embue him with a strong, evocative warrior stance.  Simple but very effective and artistic (to my eye anyway!).  I couldn't guess at the period, as I have not seen anything else like him elsewhere, but I would instinctively place him perhaps in the Late Bronze Age.

A scifi test subject sort of character I made.
He is missing a leg and uses the staff as a walking stick for mobility.

Lowpoly model of ED-209 from Robocop
Sketchfab doesn't support UDIM, so I'm using 8 materials here to make it work.
I tried to make the model as close to the original as possible, but without any frills, as my main goal was to optimize the geometry and use UDIM textures.

A photogrammetry scan of a pine tree I did in order to create photorealistic materials from.

The model is free and can be used for your personal needs. Take note that everything has been decimated from 11 million to 150k so a lot of details will be loss. The UDIMs are provided as well but has been compressed from EXR to JPG.

 Original mesh used UDIM workflow so I had to consolidate it down to one map and it SEEMED fine in blender, but it's a little jank in the sketchfab preview. Focused on strictly quad density rather than joint reinforcement with the retopo of this one, as it was meant for a still render, so any artifacts in the final were ironed out in sculpt-mode.
