Practice molds for learning cervical dilation in obstetrics.
This model includes molds for 10cm dilation.
**Steps for creating**:
1.) Print the 3D model using PLA or any standard filament (no specific printing/infill parameters)
2.) In a ventilated area, apply a silicone mold release spray to the print (I used "SELSIL Silicone Mold Release Aerosol Spray (13.5 fl oz) https://a.co/d/044ZuOGD)
3.) Pour a 20A-30A silicone to the brim of the mold, and allow to set for the recommended amount of time, per the instructions
*** Note: Silicone firmness is measured by the "Shore A" scale... I found that 20A-30A gives good results (example: https://a.co/d/07M2vmVo)
4.) Remove the silicone cervix by using pliers and slowly pulling it away from the edges... then trim off any excess edges with scissors
5.) Start learning cervical dilation!
