Olympia (Greek: Ὀλυμπία; Ancient Greek: [olympía]; Modern Greek: [oli(m)ˈbia] Olymbía), is a small town in Elis on the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece, famous for the nearby archaeological site of the same name, which was a major Panhellenic religious sanctuary of ancient Greece, where the ancient Olympic Games were held. The site was primarily dedicated to Zeus and drew visitors from all over the Greek world as one of a group of such "Panhellenic" centres which helped to build the identity of the ancient Greeks as a nation. Despite the name, it is nowhere near Mount Olympus in northern Greece, where the Twelve Olympians, the major deities of Ancient Greek religion, were believed to live.

In Greek and Roman mythology, Hercules is a hero who received divine honors and was accepted into Olympus. His attributes are the fur of the Nemean lion and the club. He was the son of Zeus and the Alkmene. 

Calliope is one of the nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne. She is the muse of poetry, science and philosophy. She is the oldest and wisest of the nine classical muses and was therefore the judge in the dispute between Aphrodite and Persephone over Adonis.

In Greek mythology the boy Ganymede was carried up into the sky, to the home of the gods on Olympus to be the gods’ taster. According to legend it was Zeus, in the shape of an eagle, who took the beautiful boy from Phrygia in the north-western part of Asia Minor (Turkey). The effect of Thorvaldsen’s sculpture is created mostly by the contrast between the smooth skin of the boy and his trusting nature, which is juxtaposed by the detailed rendering of the eagle’s feathers, its harsh look and its sharp beak. Ganymede was to take the place of Hebe as the taster of the gods, because she spilled the drink – the nectar – that made the gods immortal. Thorvaldsen modelled the group sculpture in 1817 and it exists in several marble copies.

Zeus (Greek: Ζεύς/Δίας) was the King of Olympus and the ruler of the Greek Pantheon, as well as the God of the Sky, Thunder, Lightning, Storms, Hospitality and Heavens. Youngest son of the Titans Cronos and Rhea, he was the brother of Hades, Poseidon as well as Demeter, Hestia and Hera - whom he would also wed. He fathered a line of all-powerful deities such as Athena, Ares, Hephaestus, Persephone, Zagreus, Aphrodite, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes and Dionysus as well as many mortal children such as Hercules, Kratos, Deimos, Perseus, Pollux, Peirithous, Minos and countless others.

Olympus Mons (Referance)

Olympus Mons is a very large shield volcano on the planet Mars. The volcano has a height of nearly 25 km. It is the largest volcano, the tallest planetary mountain, and the second tallest mountain in the Solar System compared to Rheasilvia on Vesta. It is the youngest of the large volcanoes on Mars, having formed during Mars's Hesperian Period. It had been known to astronomers since the late 19th century as the albedo feature Nix Olympica. Its mountainous nature was suspected well before space probes confirmed its identity as a mountain.

Overwhelmed and on the verge of death, Kratos struck a deal with Ares by committing atrocity under his name. Even his own family grew horrified by his actions. Tragically, Ares tricked him into killing his wife and child, branding him the “Ghost of Sparta” with their ashes fused to his skin. Seeking redemption, Kratos served the other Gods of Olympus for ten years, enduring their labors that deepened his hatred for them. Ultimately, he defeated Ares and claimed the throne of the “God of War”, but his fury against the Olympians led to a series of battles that determined Greece’s fate.

Fotogrametría de los restos de el acueducto romano conocido como Caños de Carmona, en la calle Luis Montoto, Sevilla. El acueducto conocido como los Caños de Carmona fue una infraestructura hidráulica de origen romano destinada al abastecimiento de agua de la ciudad de Sevilla (Hispalis). 

Se trata de una práctica para los alumnos de último curso del grado en Arquitectura. A partir del modelo tridimensional debían obtener planos acotados y diferentes vistas del elemento construido.
Fotogrametría realizada a partir de 300 fotografías JPEG de 10MB de calidad media, con una cámara Panasonic DMC-GX8 y un objetivo OLYMPUS M 12-40mm F2.8.
Las fotografías fueron procesadas con Agisfot Metashape (versión Standard, 1.8.4) y luego el modelo fue exportado a OBJ.

Se incluye el modelo en OBJ y los archivos de texturas en JPEG. 

Se incluye una ortofotografía de calidad media en formato TIF.

Olympus Film Camera PBR Scan Project

Built in Auckland in 1884, the steam tug Awhina served a long career in Albany, notably supporting the 1914 ANZAC fleet and saving the steamer Castlemoor from fire in 1928. After being stripped for scrap, the vessel was towed to Ledge Bay and burned on April 19, 1936, leaving its boiler and robust timber framing as a permanent fixture of the coastline. The site remains a rare example of 19th-century New Zealand shipbuilding, characterized by the reinforced construction required for heavy-duty maritime towing.

The Blade of Olympus was created during the First Titanomachy by Zeus as a means to end the war. After the defeat of Atlas, Zeus returned to the battlefield and wielded his new weapon. He chanted that he banished the Titans to the depths of Tartarus before pushing the blade deep into the earth.
