Sword

First mini printed with my new bambu lab a1 mini! It came out better than i expected with a .4 nozzle and .08 layers. Definately a great supportless model with great character design! You can hardly see the layerlines with the naked eye. The paint style is mostly slapchop with a wash.

This is a small dragon eye keychain designed to hold a 12mm glass eye, with an additional version that features a fully printed eye for an easy, all-in-one print.  These make awesome little gifts or “thank you” add-ons for customers, and they print quickly enough that you can batch a bunch at once without tying up your printer all day.  You can print these in multi-color or single color depending on your setup.  For the version shown, I used Bambu Lab Sparkle Alpine Green paired with Basic White, and it gives the eye a really nice contrast with a bit of shimmer. ## Scanning
For scanning I placed the nozzle on the turntable with a good bit of blue-tack. When deciding to use blue-tack make sure it is not stressed too much so it doesn't contract after placing the part on it. For smaller parts I now mainly use my Omnifixio (helping hands for soldering) but it didn't fit the nozzle. 
Back to scanning: One rotation of the turntable was made at proper exposure, since the reflective metal and contrast between polished metal and black anodization is quite hard to scan, I covered the part in a coat of scan spray. As scan settings I used high resolution with a smoothing value of 20 (provides the best results from my experience).

## Post-Processing
After scanning I simply meshed the scan at high quality (highest settings may cause noise from my experience) and exported the mesh to Quicksurface where I aligned the scan and isolated the relevant part of the nozzle.

I recreated the A1 Mini printer because I wanted to use it in an animation and I’m a big fan of its design.
Since I don’t own the printer, I worked purely from online reference images.
I tried to make it as accurate as possible within a reasonable timeframe.

AS01 Bambusa Vulgaris (Golden Bamboo)

Bitte  a l l e Files im Anhang ansehen, der als Zip Datei heruntergeladen wird. Dort ist das Dach flach - es wird geknickt und aufgeklebt, Das Geländer wird ebenfalls aufgeklebt. In Freecad lässt sich alles nach Wunsch verändern. 
Ein Modell im Maßstab von etwa 1:160 nach einer Vorlage von Michel Hilbert hier auf sketchfab - frei interpretiert und teilweise vereinfacht. Vielen Dank! Die STL wurden in Freecad erzeugt und mit Blender mit einer Textur versehen, danach mit Acrylfarbe koloriert. Es wurden mehrere Texturen versucht, einige funktionieren besser, andere führen zu Druckproblemen, die aus der Umgebung der Fenster stammen. Gedruckt wurde mit PLA 0,2mm Düse und 0,1mm Schicht ohne Support. Druckzeit etwa 6h. Die Fensterrahmen wurden als STP exportiert und in im Bambu Studio auf 98% verkleinert. Damit ist die Einpassung auch nach dem Anstrich garantiert. Die Fenster wirken besser, wenn man sie vor dem Einsetzen weiß streicht. Anstrich und Montage dauern etwa 3 Stunden.
