Lion Crushing a Serpent (1832)
by Antoine-Louis Barye (1796 - 1875)

Although his contemporaries criticized his style and his choice of animal subjects, Barye is today esteemed as the founder of the Parisian animaliers.
The noble lion, representing the new King and the people of France, is shown in a triumphant struggle against the serpent, symbolizing Charles X (reigned 1824–1830) and the ousted Bourbon dynasty. The pair additionally suggests a celestial sanction for Louis-Philippe’s reign by alluding to the constellations of Leo (the lion) and Hydra (the sea serpent), which “ruled the heavens” during the days of the July Revolution (July 27-30, 1830).

The scanned sculpture is a copy made by Guy Hain, who is a French art forger who produced number of fake bronze sculptures.
The Lion is located by the entrance of Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen.

Horse Walk

The Thinker (French: Le Penseur) is a bronze sculpture by Auguste Rodin.
Rodin first conceived the figure as part of his work The Gates of Hell commissioned in 1880, but the first of the familiar monumental bronze castings did not appear until 1904.
A bronze cast of the sculpture can be found in the garden of the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen.
The museum has a unique Rodin collection with a total of 34 sculptures, commissioned directly from the artist himself in the years 1900-1914, including well-known and monumental works.

3D scanned in 2017 using Photogrammetry from about 700 images.

The Three Graces (1813-1814), Antonio Canova (?) (1757-1822), Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now ReMake) from AutoDesk.

The Three Graces, celebrated in classical literature and art, were the daughters of Jupiter (or Zeus in Greek mythology), and companions to the Muses. Thalia (youth and beauty) is accompanied by Euphrosyne (mirth), and Aglaia (elegance).It was commissioned from Antonio Canova by John Russel, 6th Duke of Bedford, who visited the sculptor in his studio in Rome in 1814, and was captivated by the group of the Three Graces which Canova had carved for the Empress Josephine, the estranged wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. She had died in May of that year, and the Duke offered to buy the group from Canova, but Josephine's son claimed it, and that version is now in the Hermitage, St Petersburg.

In the King's Garden you can find many sculptures, one of them is this beautiful Deer Group by Arthur Jacques Le Duc (1848-1918). It was bought in 1910 by brewer Carl Jacobsen and erected the same year.

Logo: It's a redone and more realistic version of the 1994 20th Century Fox logo. This time, it is in a dark/orange evening environment. When the structure is in its distance, we can see an extra searchlight and a pair of palm trees on the bottom right hand corner. This structure, like the 1994 structure, also looks similar to the 1981 logo. This logo was designed by Chris Wedge and Carlos Saldanha, and was animated at Blue Sky Studios, 20th Century Fox's sibling company and creator of Ice Age.

The lion of Goddess Ishtar, Nye Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta.

1-3 The lshtar Gate in Babylon Nebuchadnezar (604-562 BC), the King of Babylon, started a series of ambitious building projects including the richly decorated lshtar Gate. A long processional avenue linked the sacred gate to the temple of the city god Marduk and his famous temple tower, known from the Bible as the Tower of  Babel. The facades of the lshtar Gate were decorated with reliefs in glazed tile, representing a dragon, Marduk's emblem, and a bull symbolising the weather god Adad. The processional route away
from the city was decorated with lions, the animals of Ishtar, goddess of love and war, They were to guard against advancing enemies, as is indicated by
the name ofthe gateway: Ishtar conquers its enemy.

That is what the Swedish explorer Sven Hedin called [Wan fa Gui yi Hall in the Putuo Zongcheng Temple, Chengde](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Putuo_Zongcheng_Temple). In 1929, Hedin travelled to China with the mission to procure a Lamaistic temple to the World Exhibition in Chicago in 1933. An exact model was manufactured at the architect W. H. Liang's workshops in 1932 in Beijing. Two smaller models in scale 1:10 were also made. One of them was sent to Chicago as well. The other was taken to the Ethnographic Museum in Stockholm. A model based on a previously uploaded light pickup truck. This time I decided to make it in a more civilized version, but I left the stripped out interior and roll cage. The original car was made as a homage to cars from one of my favorite childhood racing genre - demolution derby, and it carlist of cheap regular 70s american vehicles.
