Game-ready high quality asset (200k triangles) + ClearCoat (40k triangles)

The model was made in a Mid-poly workflow, which handles shading by averaged geometry normals, instead of normal mapping and is easy to optimize by removing divisions, while maintaining the same mesh topology.
It requires more polygons, however it's resistant to normal map compression (it doesn't need one, or a flat-shaded one is used), also producing smooth reflections if done properly.
A ClearCoat mesh was used to achieve a metallic paint effect on the bodywork - not obligatory.

A planispheric astrolabe consisting of a mater, rete, ruler, alidade as well as a pin and wedge (horse) holding all the elements together. The design of the rete is based on the four-leaf clover symbol - the four halves supporting the equator and the ecliptic are spaced along the astrolabe's major axes, one full clover is inside the circle of the ecliptic, and two quarters of the clover provide support for the arc below the ecliptic.

15th-century quatrefoil window in the east wall of the sacristy to the north of the chancel in Portumna Dominican Friary (GA127-019----), Co. Galway. The term quatrefoile refers to an ornamental design of four lobes or leaves as used in architectural tracery, resembling a flower or clover leaf. Quatrefoil originates from the Old French word quatrefoil, meaning "four-leaf," which combines quatre ("four") and foil ("leaf"), derived from the Latin quattuor and folium.  The friary, National Monument No. 461, was built in the 13th-century as a Cistercian chapel dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul. In 1414 the O’Madden family granted the church to the Dominican Order when the church was converted into a friary with the addition of a crossing tower and cloister with claustral buildings to the north of the church. Gold-plated silver ring with a round ring plate. At the core of the motif is the depiction of a lamb advancing towards the right, casting a glance backwards, with a cross and flag (Agnus Dei). The ring band exhibits a flat D-shaped cross-section, which becomes wider and flatter towards the ring shoulder, merging clearly into the ring plate. On the ring shoulder is a cloverleaf-like cross motif consisting of four dots and lines. This motif set off from the ring plate by two cross lines.

This object was digitized through the ‘Kulturerbe digital’ program of the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Public Service and Sport.
