On 6/23/2021, These are the underwater creatures that live in the shallows, popular in Okinawa.

Found at a depth of about 3-4 meters at the Dive Site “Gorilla Chop”, Sakimotobu, Motobucho Kunigamigun, Okinawa, Japan

From 445 images of 60MP. This was taken underwater.

Soft Coral Set

Bubblegum coarl, Paragorgia arborea, has a fluffy appearance when the feeding polyps are extended. Researchers form MBARI and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary traveled to Sur Ridge to study the corals and sponges that grow on this fascinating underwater mountain. Deep-sea corals

A quick experiment with marine themes! I used ShapeLab for the initial VR sculpting to capture the movement of the octopus and corals. Then, I finished it off in Substance 3D Painter using neon-inspired tones. The goal was to build a dreamlike, vibrant deep-sea ecosystem that feels a bit "otherworldly."

Hydnophora sp. (NHMW-ZOO-EV-0015153)

This model was developed in RealityCapture from imagery collected via the EV Nautilus NA156 Expedition: https://nautiluslive.org/cruise/na156. Following the model development, the corals were digitally removed using Blender to support the analysis of structural complexity provisioning by deep sea corals.

Submarine - Corals Removed

This 3d model shows skeletons of multiple stony corals growing next to each other. The most prominent one from the **Euphylliidae** family. This specimen was obtained from the Pola expedition.

Favites sp.(NHMW-ZOO-EV-0008824)

Poppy Luminette looks like she stepped out of a painted daydream and forgot to bring any cynicism with her. Short auburn curls frame a soft, watchful face; the posture is poised but gentle, hands lifting the skirt just enough to suggest a curtsy, a dance step, or the start of a secret. Her dress is a wash of pinks and corals with floating florals—more watercolor than fabric—cinched by a bright red belt that snaps the whole silhouette into focus. The shoes match the warmth, grounding the otherwise airy palette. She reads as stylized, romantic, and quietly cinematic: ideal for a visual novel cast, a whimsical NPC, or a gallery-like character model for renders and turntables.
