Bombardier S Train Carriage - London Underground

This is the biggest model I have posted in Sketchfab, that could make it slow to load. This model of the masterchief monument - executed by French sculptor Aimé-Jules Dalou, is made from almost 500 photos of 24 MPixel (taken from the ground) with ContextCapture, the photogrammetry software of Acute3D, Bentley Systems. I did not retouch the mesh, only cropped it, remove texture, made ambient occlusion in Meshlab, used lighting of Sketchfab.

This is an animation of an adult Largemouth Bass.

This 3D model is a composite of images from an adult Largemouth Bass (Micropterus salmoides) housed at the Maymont Nature Center (https://maymont.org/animals/nature-center/), and a scan from a preserved Largemouth Bass from the Natural History Collection at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (https://bcrc.bio.umass.edu/nhc/home).

CG artists Jer Bot, Johnson Martin and Robert Gutierrez used Blender to reconstruct the full fish from these scans and images, as well as animate the movements. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (length/width/height: 5469/1921/1510 millimetres) is a classic three-box saloon. Distinguishing features at the front include the distinctive bonnet with a chromed fin and the Mercedes-Maybach radiator grille. This is highly recognisable by its vertical, three-dimensional trim strips. The word mark MAYBACH is elegantly integrated into the chrome surround of the grille. The rear doors are wider than those of the brother models, and the C-pillars feature a fixed quarterlight.

The adults feed on the leaves while the grubs (called White Grubs or Root Grubs) feed on the roots of rice plants by digging through the soil. Root grubs feed on rice during the seedling stage of the crop.

Haytor, also known as Haytor Rocks, Hay Tor, or occasionally Hey Tor, is a granite tor on the eastern edge of Dartmoor in the English county of Devon. Near the village of Haytor Vale in the parish of Ilsington. There is an electoral ward with the same name.

Haytor is now considered a natural beauty spot and is arguably Dartmoor's most famous landmark, popular with coach parties and walking groups. It is easily accessible by road and at a height of 457 metres (1,499 ft) right on the eastern side of the moor, it provides excellent views of the coastline, the Teign Estuary and the rolling countryside between, with the ridge of Haldon behind. The smaller, western outcrop is sometimes known as "Lowman". Rock climbers make use of both outcrops; each one has routes of varying difficulty.

Haytor Rocks 3D Reconsrtuction

The coffin ensemble of Taditjaina consists of an outer coffin (inventory no. 150a; approx. 76 x 193 x 73 cm) and an inner one (inventory no. 150b; approx. 43 x 173 x 48 cm). They are possibly from the Theban necropolis, and date back to the beginning of the 26th Dynasty (approx. 664–525 B.C.). Both coffins perfectly fit into one another. The two coffins and the mummy of lady Taditjaina were a gift to the Württembergian royal house from the German consul to Alexandria, Mr. von Dumreicher, between 1820 and 1830. They were later given to the University of Tübingen in 1911. The wooden coffins are white stuccoed, and have polychrome scenes, painted red, black, blue, dark green and yellow. The inscriptions of the coffins contain various scenes and texts from the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead—a guide for the afterlife. The texts should guarantee the continued existence and provision of Taditjaina, the lady of the house, the noble one, in the Netherworld.

I created the model of the temple and the landscape with Agisoft Photoscan trial using a drone video. Fixes of the geometries and texture maps were done in ZBrush.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a rock structure near Morrison, Colorado, 10 miles (16 km) west of Denver, where concerts are given in the open-air amphitheatre. There is a large, tilted, disc-shaped rock behind the stage, a huge vertical rock angled outwards from stage right, several large outcrops angled outwards from stage left and a seating area for up to 9,525 people in between. At its height, the amphitheatre sits at 6,450 feet, and the surrounding Red Rocks Park covers 868 acres. The amphitheater is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver, Colorado and is located in Red Rocks Park, part of the Denver Mountain Parks system.

I have had to use a lot of artisit licence with this model as high quality photographs are hard to come by.  I do not use schematic diagrams for my models and only use photographs I can find on google images.  With some basic measurements found on wikipedia, I am ususally able to get a close approximation.

Pillbox Winchelsea Beach Nook Road

This is a partial scan of the cemetary in Igualada, which was designed by Enric Miralles and Carme Pinos. Miralles himself died only a few years after the completion of the cemetary and is buried there.

The space captured is a kind of chapel that sits above the necropolis. It is adjacent to the cemetary's crematorium, which is now out of use.

The capture was assembled out of about a thousand photos taken with a Google Pixel 2 XL. The large gap in light levels between the exterior shots and the depths of the interior made this one difficult to capture well.

VR viewing is recommended!
