Spider Punk from Across The Spider Verse

Butrón (Basque: Butroeko gaztelua) is a castle located in Gatika, in the province of Biscay, in northern Spain. It dates originally from the Middle Ages, although it owes its present appearance to an almost complete rebuilding begun by Francisco de Cubas (also known as Marqués de Cubas) in 1878. The castle has a fairy-tale look about it inspired by Bavarian castle models. The present building was created as a hobby for its then owner and to create something which is visually spectacular rather than to produce something in which people could actually live. The model is my very first one to create, so please excuse any bugs or issues that you might encounter. I am just a hobbyist and by no means an expert at anything I used to make the model. I used Maya and ZBrush for modeling/retopo, and Substance Painter + Knald to texture this model. The anatomy is mostly inspired by the creatures of Avatar, while the albino type skin is a reference to Azog from the Hobbit and the Dragon from the last harry potter movie.

This is a recreation of my favorite Calvin and Hobbes art! I wanted to experiment with a "traditional" 2D appearance while thinking about how it looks in a low-poly 3D environment.

The models were made in Zbrush and Maya, and the textures were painted in Substance Painter and Photoshop.

Years ago, a couple got a sweet piece of land and built a japanese style house. Over time, they added two smaller sheds on their property, used to practice their hobbies. The woman loved to brew and drink tea and the man loved gardening.
As time went by.. they grew old together. They had children, and eventually grandchildren. 

Sadly, the man's time came earlier. After he left, grandma did not know what to do, while her deceased husband's flowers began to wither. She didn't have a green thumb, like her significant other. Grandma got a bit superstitious when suddely, a beautiful flower grew next to the shed. She believed that it was her husband, who wanders around the place, wanting to accompany her even after his death. She decided to transform the gardening shed into a worshipping house, together with her family. Grandma came to the shed daily to talk to him. After some time, more and more flowers began to bloom. As if grandpa was really still there, continuing on being besides grandma.
