Temple Of Augustus Ruins

The Mosque of the Blessed Tree, a newly constructed 250-square-meter heritage mosque, stands as a testament to the reviving of our cultural architectural legacy. Incorporating Islamic architectural principles and traditional building techniques, this mosque serves as a example of heritage preservation. Located approximately 140 kilometers northeast of Amman, in the Safawi area of Mafraq, Jordan, this sacred site is meticulously maintained by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, alongside the Royal Committee for the Restoration of the Shrines of Prophets and Companions. Their efforts ensure the preservation of the site's cultural heritage for future generations.

Mosque of Tree of Al Buqayawiyya, Jordan

This is a totally sustainable project under construction in Amman, Jordan. Built by local stone using thick load baring walls 1 m width with different ceilings type like a cross vault, catenary vaults, domes on four squinches & Shallow domes, as well as trying to add a local architecture vocabulary from our regain ( arch details, patterns, Muqarnas....) our target to set this project as a good sample of traditional construction method and help others to start similar projects

Strade Dominican Friary, National Monument No. 172.  The abbey at Strade dates to the mid-13th century, when it first started as a Franciscan Friary, established by the Lord of Athlethan (Ballylahan), Jordan de Exeter. The Dominican friars moved into Strade in 1253. The priory was dedicated to the Holy Cross & was a daughter house of Sligo Dominican priory (SL014-068008-).  A papal indulgence granted in 1434  may have resulted in a rebuilding phase of the church.  The carving of the vulning pelican (from the Latin vulnerō, “to wound”) on the north wall of the crossing tower of the friary church dates from the 15th-century.  In Medieval Christianity, the pelican feeding its young with its own blood was a symbol for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross & the Eucharist.  Also known as the Pelican in Her Piety, the bird piercing it's breast to shed blood is an allegory of Christ on the Cross, a symbol of the Passion of Christ. Strade Abbey -The Vulning Pelican

Strade Dominican Friary is a National Monument in state ownership (No. 172). The abbey dates to the mid-13th century, when it first started as a Franciscan Friary, established by the Lord of Athlethan (Ballylahan), Jordan de Exeter. The Dominican friars moved into Strade in 1253. The priory was dedicated to the Holy Cross & was a daughter house of Sligo Dominican priory (SL014-068008-). One of a group of 5 graveslabs on display against the south wall of the chancel of the Dominican friary church. This tapered slab served as the lid of a stone coffin. It bears a floriated cross in low relief, the terminals of the cross appear to form trefoils/bud & leaf or flower & leaf motif, a fleur-de-lis/flower of the lily. Fleury Cross/Lily Cross, terminals representing the flowering head of the lily plant. Diagonal arms represent the Crucifixion. Carving is best viewed in matcap render. I was inspired by one of the presets in Marvelous Designer and I made this. The meme is kind of old at this point but I still wanted to publish it. This was modeled and simulated in Marvelous Designer with some file size reduction done in blender. A lot of the original detail had to be decimated to meet Sketchfab's file size limit on free accounts. I'm planning on uploading the jacket on it's own, though that might need to be decimated  a bit too.

In medieval Christianity, the bird & the serpent symbolize the battle between Christ (or virtue) & the Devil (or sin). The bird represents divine power, resurrection, and Heaven, often fighting or carrying off the serpent, which embodies evil, malice, & the fall of man. This carving may represent 'Christ in Triumph'. > Fragment of a mold-made terracotta female figurine with a lion-like head (2878 / TZ 015312-001), dating to the Late Bronze Age–Iron Age. It depicts the upper body of a fertility goddess with a large centrally parted hairstyle falling over the shoulders, one visible ear, and exposed breasts. The lower part is broken off and facial details are eroded, but the fragment is otherwise stable.

Tall Ziraʿa is an archaeological mound in northern Jordan, continuously inhabited for about 5,000 years. Its rich layers reveal ancient settlements, architecture, and artifacts, highlighting its role as a key regional center over millennia.

# Description:
> Yoke finial (4174 / TZ 010950-001) made of alabaster, dating to Iron Age II. It is a fragment of a round pommel with a smoothly polished top surface and a centric drill hole, round in cross-section, with a deep circular groove in the middle. The top side has a central round hole, while the bottom side features a rectangular hole. The object belongs to chariot equipment and measures 3.7 cm in height with a maximum diameter of 2.5 cm.
